First post here.... looking forward to getting more involved once I actually have a Bronco....

But, I was hoping for some sanity check/advice on the pricing environment now.

There are many 24 Broncos on the lots here, with deep online discounts.
But, some of the changes for 25 are important to me, so I really just want a 25.
Not surprisingly, every dealer I've contacted online really wanted to talk 24. Two ghosted me when I give them my 25 build. One grudgingly gave me a crazy nonstarter price, after really trying to get me to talk 24. One, however, gave a 25 price that I'd consider "fair" -- 3.5% profit as far as I can figure out. Honestly, if I had to negotiate to this point, I'd be happy with it, but, now I'm wondering, am I missing something? How often does anyone just more or less accept what appears to be a good offer? Or does everything these days need to be haggled?

What's everyone's sense of how the 25s are selling?

x2......... If you're after a glorified golf cart get a 2-door. If you appreciate a grinding transmission, get the Chinese manual one they offer. Give us your trim pick, so we can tell you about how much we paid for ours in 2021.

If you want to spend days or weeks or months searching and negotiating to save some bucks, go ahead. If you find the one you really want and don’t feel too bad about the money part of the deal, that’s good too. Only you know your highest priorities, no one here does.

Oh for sure I'm not going to knock myself out over every last nickel, but, I also don't want to get totally ripped off. I'm just wondering if the market for 25s is flexible, given the large amounts of 24s. The car buying process is somewhat opaque to me as a regular consumer, and I'd just welcome any insight, as part of researching the price of this large purchase.

Your gut and your research so far are getting you on the right path. Supply and demand laws apply here. High supply of 24’s drive lower prices. Low supply of 25’s keep prices up. There will be some minor variations, but that’s what you’re facing.

Be aware any new BL or SAS with HOSS 2 suspension built before 7/23/24 is currently under safety recall and cannot be delivered

The 25's are selling great, because there are very few on dealer lots. You can get a great deal on one in 2026.

Dealers are incentivized now to move out their 24's by February. Unless there is something on a 2025 you absolutely must have, that you can't find on a 24, I would take the 24 with the incentives being offered. If you wait too long, your model options will dwindle

Car buying IS a negotiation activity. That's why they are sold by DEALERS. I am sure you heard the expression "wheeling and dealing". Keep educating yourself on prices in the area. Or even go out of state, Mr. Mid-Atlantic. Ford doesn't care and the service dept doesn't care where you bought it from.

If you like the idea of an extended warranty, after you buy your Bronco, go online and get the Ford Protect extended warranty through Granger Ford. They are legit, and their pricing is the lowest I have seen. A lot of members here will attest to that.

Buying a vehicle involves negotiating. Some people are not good at that or ultra non-confrontational. If that's the case, bring a friend who is good at that stuff, research the pricing including invoicing, and then negotiate an acceptable deal.

I also always recommend buy based on actual usage, for real what will you do with the vehicle, what features will you use. Reality based buying.

Unless you're going to get a lot of use from the MY25 features, I'd probably go for a MY24 deal. Try to negotiate a good deal and satisfaction you are using the features you purchased.

Thanks everyone for the input. It is helpful to get a sense of things.

The 25 deal I'm looking at is technically below invoice. With fees, they are just a bit over invoice. That and the holdback must be their profit. I suppose there's a price at which I can't look past the 24.

There are people who think I can be confrontational BUT THEY'RE TOTALLY WRONG!!!!!
In any event, when buying cars, I'm more likely to just walk out if the dealer is crazy.

Totally agree about reality-based buying. Ford will not configure my ideal Bronco. Something always has to give. That's OK, I'm looking forward to it.

What features for MY25 (that you can't get on a '24) are you looking for?
