There is a Ford Tech Service Bulletin out on this issue (TSB #25-2433), which is for an improperly-sized ball detent. I have the same issue but haven't taken mine in for the fix yet; I plan to at my next oil change.
Update on this issue - there is now (as of 9/15/25) a TSB issued for dealers to resolve this problem (#25-2433). Looks like maybe there's supposed to be a ball detent which makes the latch stay in place, and in some cases it's undersized. I'll be bringing this to my dealer's attention on my next...
Dealers live & die by online reviews, so they will do whatever they can to keep (make) them all 5-star. I bought a sports car from an out-of-state dealer a couple of years ago, and had a few problems getting some pre-delivery items corrected and getting the title, so I gave them a 2-star rating...
If I could break up the Lux package, I'd gladly give up the power leather seats and stick with manual vinyl ones. My daughter & SiL both have the MGV seats in their Broncos, and I actually find them more comfortable than our OBX leather. I find the Molle panels on the seat backs to be handier...
We've been experiencing this exact same thing, with the same latch, on our '24 OBX since we purchased 6 months ago. We just got home from an 800 mile trip, and had to relatch the panel 5-6 times during the trip. One morning I found it unlatched in the driveway, after I had made sure it was...
We traded in our 2021 Mazda CX-5 for the Bronco. We bought the Mazda new in Oct. '21, when they only had 2 on the lot due to Covid shortages. It was a perfectly fine vehicle; no issues at all, but when our daughter surprised us and came over with her new Bronco BB, I was hooked.
When I took my first test drive ('24 OBX) back in Dec., all was great until I made a U-turn to go back to the dealership, and all of the alerts from this thread came up. Salesman said "probably just a loose connector; I can get that fixed", but I wanted no part of it and decided to move on to...
Because I'm not made of money, we had to give up (trade in) one vehicle when we decided on getting a Bronco. Our F150 SC XLT is 8 years old, and our Mazda CX-5 was only 3 years old, but we elected to trade the Mazda. We just couldn't give up the great utility AND the quality we've experienced...
How about 5 weeks? Drove home from the dealer on Dec. 30, and noticed this at a gas stop last weekend.
Thought it was a stress crack at first because I didn't recall any hard hits, but looks like something got it just above the clear area. VERY small impact point.
We're about 2/3 of the way through a 2,500 mile trip, and the indicated MPG for the 1,8XX so far is 21.7. Considering the engine is not even fully broken in yet (less than 2,500 on the vehicle), I'm pretty impressed.
Looks like a great, sturdy table for the purposes you use it for. (y) I'll probably not use my rig for the same purposes, so I was specifically looking for Molle panels when I started. The fact that the JROAD table has Molle and a decent working surface ended up being a bonus for us.
I had originally ordered the single table version, but it went OOS before it was shipped, so I cancelled the order and got the 2-level one instead. Glad I did.
After an unsuccessful attempt at installing a Ford tailgate Molle panel (hooks were ALL positioned wrong), I finally got around to installing the JROAD 2-level table instead.
Took me FOREVER to install (almost 3 hours, by myself and in poor lighting), but seems really sturdy and well-built...
A week ago, I was at the local Ford dealer test-driving a selection of OBX. Coincidentally, the Cactus (now retired) Gray one I looked at had not only an indent in the same place, but a 3-4" long scratch in the leather near the indent. I'm guessing someone had a pocket knife, screwdriver or...
These mats were the first "mod" after we purchased our OBX. I can't really add anything to the OP's comprehensive review, but to say that these are every bit as rugged, precisely fit, and good looking as they said. Very happy with this purchase.
