  1. Factory roof rack removal from MIC

Does anyone have any other ideas? I've tried removing the roof rack and am stuck on the rear. For a LONG time. I am not mechanically inclined and do not understand most of this thread, so if someone can explain it to me like I'm 2 years old, that would be great. I do understand the last post...
  2. 2025 Bronco Scheduling This Week (3/20/25) for Production Weeks 4/28-5/26

Mine went from "built" to "delivered." These things can happen quickly!
  3. 2025 Bronco Scheduling This Week (3/20/25) for Production Weeks 4/28-5/26

Built. And even though not yet "shipped," there is an estimated delivery date range of almost immediately.
  4. 2025 Bronco Scheduling This Week (3/20/25) for Production Weeks 4/28-5/26

Me three? No email or text, but today it says it's "in production" as of yesterday. However, still no window sticker anywhere...? Guess that's coming?
  5. Ford offers employee pricing (below invoice) to all US customers April 3 through June 2 - "From America to America"

What now? I negotiated what seemed to be a good below-invoice deal, put deposit down, waiting patiently for car to get built. And now Ford announces "from America to America" employee pricing on everything. How likely is this to be lower than what I negotiated? It seems employee pricing is...
  6. Ford Build Tracker Down??

Same here. Maybe they decided not to build them anymore? Guess I'll just get more duct tape for the good ol' 84 Fiesta...
  7. 2025 Bronco Scheduling This Week (3/13/25) for Production Weeks 5/5 - 5/26

Was happy to receive an email today that I'm scheduled for production week of 4/28. Was able to access the tracking page.... OK... But now, it's gone.... and I get an error that "The Order Number and VIN entered do not match with a corresponding vehicle order." Sooo..... are they really...
  8. 2025 Bronco Scheduling This Week (3/13/25) for Production Weeks 5/5 - 5/26

"Only for retail" meaning.... for people who bought at retail or for "retailers?"
  9. 2025 Outer Banks build stuck in production

You're fine. I'll hit the 45 day "we'll tell you later" period early next week on a January OBX order... Nothing yet. I just hope they're not waiting on any Canadian/Mexican parts...
  10. V-6 Manual Transmission

Good luck finding a MT Bronco to test drive. I struggled a lot with this, and in the end opted for V6 because it's quieter and felt better than the V4. But I'm a bit disappointed. If they paired the V6 with a manual transmission, I'd have gone with Badlands for that over OBX, so they would've...
  11. Thoughts on not buying right now?

"You can live in your car, but you can't drive your house." Spend accordingly.
  12. Jeep introduces in-dash advertisements

I'd rather "rent" a feature because I'm used to buying different options in a car. I pay to get a thing I want, or, not. But car makers want you to have a positive association with their brand, so you'll keep buying it. If they treat every sale like it's the last one ever so they might as well...
  13. Jeep introduces in-dash advertisements

Gas Station TV is nails-on-chalkboard level for me. They almost all have it now, but I'd go out of my way to avoid it. Never buying a car where the screen gets hijacked by some such :poop:. It could definitely cheapen a brand. Maybe the Spirit/Frontier-level service consumers would tolerate it...
  14. Almost an owner -- shopping advice/input

I'm sure not expecting it to be quiet! Just preferred the even slightly less-loud version of a loud car, that I want for many of the usual reasons people get these.
  15. Almost an owner -- shopping advice/input

I prefer the 25 for various reasons... V6 in an Outer Banks, improved lux stereo, and quieter. These are big for me precisely because I expect to have the car for a long time. Ten years from now, if 300 miles in to some long trip I wish the car were even a bit quieter, the better deal I got way...
  16. Almost an owner -- shopping advice/input

Thanks everyone for the input. It is helpful to get a sense of things. The 25 deal I'm looking at is technically below invoice. With fees, they are just a bit over invoice. That and the holdback must be their profit. I suppose there's a price at which I can't look past the 24. There are...
  17. Almost an owner -- shopping advice/input

Oh for sure I'm not going to knock myself out over every last nickel, but, I also don't want to get totally ripped off. I'm just wondering if the market for 25s is flexible, given the large amounts of 24s. The car buying process is somewhat opaque to me as a regular consumer, and I'd just...
  18. Almost an owner -- shopping advice/input

First post here.... looking forward to getting more involved once I actually have a Bronco.... But, I was hoping for some sanity check/advice on the pricing environment now. There are many 24 Broncos on the lots here, with deep online discounts. But, some of the changes for 25 are important to...
