It's strange that they aren't doing a slow roll release.
How much slower do you want them to go? By any measure, waiting a year from time of order with no end in sight when it will be delivered, is pretty slow.

Even if they just focused all their efforts on getting ONE customer order out the door (not a YouTuber order), that would go a long way for keeping everyone's confidence. Assuming that one order holder is on this forum and can share the good/positive news that is.

Geez, now we are setting the bar so low that even they can't even clear that bar.

Well, I assume people have ordered these tops, because they are better than stock, else why order? And the talk around here has been about foam interior rather than honeycomb, and other design points that are considered superior. But you're right, without seeing enough of these in action, and without judgement of time, we don't know for sure. Time will tell.

I think everyone needs to remain calm and be patient, they have an excellent track record.
I've mentioned it before in this thread. Advanced Fiberglass may have had a decent track record prior to taking on the hardtop project. BUT this company sprouted from Glassworks Unlimited. A company notoriously known for great quality products, but horrible customer service and even worse communication.

ADV continues to ignore its customers and feed them extremely vague responses as to the real issues they are facing.

This is starting to sound like Glassworks Unlimited all over again. John used to work there until Tim, the owner went out of business. Not sure how it actually went down, but John opened Advanced Fiberglass and is now using all of the old glassworks unlimited molds. It would seem that before taking on this hardtop venture that he has been able to operate much more efficiently.

You can see countless threads on other forums with people complaining about Glassworks Unlimited, a lot of which are sounding similar to this thread. Although John is much more communicative than Tim ever was, he gives extremely vague responses. If he was more transparent about the issues they are having, he wouldn’t have everyone on here coming up with all kinds of conspiracies.

I've actually grown accustomed to my softie, so I'm not what you'd call "desperate", more annoyed that someone else is making 4.5% off that deposit. I suspect the folks getting most annoyed are those are who looking at (possibly another) winter in one. Down here in Texas, that's actually when we're more apt to throw the top back.
I got my WT in late Jan, and with our crazy extended winter, the softy wasn't soo bad. I'm more annoyed with the fraying I'm starting to get in spots and paint wear spots in the rear corner....

I keep watching this thread for better news from ADV... I'm still undecided between this and Armadillo's. Solid aluminum construction is looking more and more appealing, even if it looks a bit more tactical... Armadillo is also only a few hrs from me.

Well if I don't have a shipping confirmation by the end of October, I'm out. I've been more than patient with them (as has everyone here), and I would recommend others hold them to the same level of commitment as well.

A lot can happen over a month, so I'm going to try to be optimistic.
I am kind of having similar feelings.
Curious to see what Halloween brings; more shipped tops or more cancelled orders?

I know and you were one that I was following. We all knew the Bronco was real. Some were stuck in allocation purgatory for whatever reason, but at least we knew it existed. ADV's HT on the other hand is vaporware.

I originally ordered the black MOD top, I'm sure I will be happier with the one piece ADV top in the winter and my soft top for the summer anyway.
