If it's the MY25 announcement (not sure what else it could be) this is perfect timing for me. My name is attached to a dealer ordered OBX that is scheduled to be delivered next week. If there is something in the MY25 that I really want I can drop the MY24 vehicle and order the MY25. I'm hoping for some "advanced" technology like buttons on the back of the steering wheel to manipulate the sound system. For the last 15 years I've been able to tap a button on the back of the steering wheel and switch to the next station. As best I can tell I'm going to have to lean forward and tap the touch screen on my Bronco. Barbaric but what are you gonna do.

On Saturday, September 21, 2024, the first Raptor Rally –– a one-day off-road experience ––took place.

A mix of nearly 300 F-150 Raptor, Bronco Raptor, and Ranger Raptor owners and guests gathered in Fairfield, Utah. Owners were there to get the most out of their vehicle, from high-speed runs and jumping them, to sessions with off-road and racing pros.

In addition to offering attendees deals on performance items and accessories, Ford dropped racing team announcements, plus 2025 model year information for the Bronco Raptor: three colors added to the lineup.

The 2024 Bronco Raptor Colors

Currently offered on the Bronco Raptor:

Azure Gray ($995 upcharge)
Hot Pepper Red ($495 upcharge)
Cactus Gray ($295 upcharge)
Velocity Blue ($295 upcharge)
Shelter Green ($295 upcharge)
Shadow Black
Oxford White
Iconic Silver


New 2025 Bronco Raptor Colors

For 2025, the Bronco Raptor gains:

Ruby Red ($495 upcharge on Sport)
Desert Sand
Marsh Gray


Desert Sand, once exclusive to the Bronco Everglades, was added as a color for 24MY Bronco Sport ($295 upcharge).


Marsh Gray is a lighting-dependent greenish-brown-gray. The color was added to the F-150 for 25MY, as well. Bronco ambassador Chase Gentry posted a Bronco Raptor with the new paint and a body-color matched roof from the event, calling it “sick.” See the paint change in the light in his Reel below.

The many neutral colors of Bronco have left some owners/potential buyers wishing for splashy oranges, purples, yellows, and more. Despite Marsh Gray not being a vibrant color, it’s a good one, in my opinion, that looks nice with black. Would you order it?

I painted cars decades ago, and I remember wet sanding a car that was just primered, and with it wet, it was gloss grey. I said to the guy standing near me, I should just lay two coats of clear enamel and see if I can convince the customer that is the newest popular color.
He laughed like hell, and said good luck, nobody wants shiny primer...!!!
Little did I know back in 1986, that I was going to be really wrong in 30+ years.
I do like the Shelby GT350's in Avalanche Grey... but that is the only shiny primer vehicle I like... just my opinion.

A body shop near Atlanta back in the late 80's used to rebuild wrecks and sell them on their car lot. He would prime a vehicle either grey or black and just skip the color coat and clear it. I always thought the black ones that he put a matt additive in the clear looked great

You CAN change the volume on the steering wheel

Don't worry folks. Marsh basically = Sting Gray. Desert sand basically = Gobi. There should be a 'Punk'n' and 'Reign' Bronco in no time if trends follow.

(yes, I know there are only so many colors).

The only difference is that Ford doesn't seem to go with the catchy names. I think those catchy names are a little dumb personally. Though I do like that Reign works on more than one level.
