74weld stage 1 steering upgrade DIY install

Just curious if anyone has a list of required tools for this job and tie rod job?
I live out of state for work and am going to try to go home in August to use my dad's shop space to do stage 1, tie rods, and install my skid plates. I just want to make sure I will have all the tools I need.

OKAY! Nevermind on my original question. I saw the 74 weld instructions gave a tools list. I love when companies do this!

HOWEVER, where in the world can I find a 40mm crows foot? Searching the usual suspects, I am only coming across 41 and 42mm crows feet. Is there an SAE equivalent?

I did see that one. I guess I'm a big dummy bc I don't understand how that design works. I've only ever seen them with the socket hole near the bottom.

I mean for a 40mm tool. I didn't see that in your kit, but thought I'd see what you might do.

I don't think we used one when we did the billet rack, but not sure where the 40mm comes into play on stage 1.

I'm a big dummy x2. I was initially reading the stage 3 instructions. The stage 1 instructions call for a 37mm crows foot. Did you guys have to use an arbor press or come up with an alternative? I do not have an arbor press.

It might be easier to just post the tools list ha!

Yeah. It looks like this is the step is what calls for the crows foot. I agree, I think I could just use a big adjustable wrench here. The only thing left I'm unsure of is the arbor press. I assume that's for the step for pressing the new bushings into the 74 weld cap. How did y'all handle this step?

The downside is you can't get the proper torque, which is where the crows foot comes in. But my kits are for emergency trail repairs where gudentite is enough to get home.

LOL All the vids for the install said use a big crescent wrench. Might have gone overboard a tad. Couldn’t find the specs on the Icon to rack. I’ll toss in back lockbox for others on the trails if needed.

For the passenger side I had to put a torque multiplier on the already big wrench. And there’s a chance I’m stronger than the average adult male That effer was tight!

Anyone know the part # for these bushings? I figure I might as well throw new ones in there while I'm at it. I also checked with flip, so I'll post in here if I find out if no one else has them.

@SierraBronco I think I just found your install vid for your NVM belly skids. Thank you for that! The NVM instructions are not great. I'm doing the 74weld stage 1, e-swaybar disco, and NVM skids all in the same install, so that will be very helpful. Thanks!
