I have a 2023 Bronco 4-door Heritage Edition that received the 6-speaker stereo system (7th speaker subwoofer delete due to parts contraints). I want to have my dealer install the parts necessary to restore the system to the 7-speaker OEM system. (I am not interested in using non-OEM parts or otherwise upgrading the system).

From my review of the forums, it looks like the part I need for sure is the OEM amp:

FoMoCo Part FP5T-18C808-AB (also referred to as the stock Ford Fusion amp).

I am having difficulty confirming the part number for the 7th speaker, the OEM subwoofer.

My parts department at my local dealer gave me: M2DZ-18808L but I looked this up and the parts description is for the Ford "10-speaker system," perhaps the optional Bang & Olufson system?

I have scanned the forums and e-bay for people who have removed the stock systems in their Broncos, Raptors etc and other possible part numbers are:

N2DZ-18C804-AA (from a 2022 Raptor)
N2DZ-18C804-A
N2DT-18C804-AA

Can anyone help me identify which specific part I need to order?

Once I get the parts I asssume the dealer just connects them to the existing pre-wiring in my car and then uses a program called FORSCAN to calibrate the stereo system?

Am I missing anything? Thanks in advance for your help!

For example, found this on ebay, looks like it's the whole 7-speaker OEM system including amp and subwoofer:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/326145093748
You don't need that entire enclosure, it's already in place on a 2023. You just need the amp, as you noted in your post, and a functioning subwoofer. Since you are OK with buying off of eBay I couldn't help but notice that the link you posted included some ads for just the sub.

From other post I have read, in the "deletes" the enclosure is there (as Karl states) with a fake amp and sub attached. I would have the panel taken off to see what's there.

Thanks! I would actually prefer not to buy off of eBay if possible, just used searched the site to see if I could get pictures and part numbers for the subwoofer alone.

Yes, that is my understanding as well. I haven't opened the enclosure on my car but I have read it actually contains a fake amp and subwoofer with no functioning parts but that all the relevant wiring is there.

And yes, I am scanning the other ebay listings for just the subwoofer alone. Those listings have the part number:

M2DT-18808L

which is slightly different than the part number quoted by Ford dealer, M2DZ-18808L.

You’re confusing/mixing up service part numbers and engineering numbers.
Any part number you see on an actual part is an engineering number, not a typical or normal part number which you would actually order.

The engineering number listed on the eBay listing you posted on post 2 (N2DT-18C804-AA) has an actual service part number of N2DZ-18C804-A, which is what you need to order.

Thanks so much! Did you happen to pull the part number from your car's system? I called my dealer and their parts department said the part number that pops up in their system is the M2DZ-18808L part number. Super confusing!

No, I cross referenced it from the engineering number listed off a 7 speaker sub

Thank again! My worry is that the ebay listing in question is for everything: The stock amp, the subwoofer enclosure (the big black plastic piece that surround the amp and subwoofer) as well as the subwoofer (speaker) itself. All I am looking for is the part number of the subwoofer/speaker. My 2023 Bronco has the black plastic enclosure but is just missing the functional amp and subwoofer.

It should be for everything. That’s the only way you can order it from Ford. You can’t get the subwoofer alone. Only comes as an assembly.

Same with the 10 speaker system, it only comes with the sub already in the enclosure

I just spoke with my dealer and he suspects (but will confirm) that the difference between the M2DZ-18808Labd M2DT-18808L part numbers is that the D and T just reflect different places of manufacture but that the components are functionally the same. Will hopefully get clarification soon.
