I have a 2023 Bronco 4-door Heritage Edition that received the 6-speaker stereo system (7th speaker subwoofer delete due to parts contraints). I want to have my dealer install the parts necessary to restore the system to the 7-speaker OEM system. (I am not interested in using non-OEM parts or otherwise upgrading the system).
From my review of the forums, it looks like the part I need for sure is the OEM amp:
FoMoCo Part FP5T-18C808-AB (also referred to as the stock Ford Fusion amp).
I am having difficulty confirming the part number for the 7th speaker, the OEM subwoofer.
My parts department at my local dealer gave me: M2DZ-18808L but I looked this up and the parts description is for the Ford "10-speaker system," perhaps the optional Bang & Olufson system?
I have scanned the forums and e-bay for people who have removed the stock systems in their Broncos, Raptors etc and other possible part numbers are:
N2DZ-18C804-AA (from a 2022 Raptor)
N2DZ-18C804-A
N2DT-18C804-AA
Can anyone help me identify which specific part I need to order?
Once I get the parts I asssume the dealer just connects them to the existing pre-wiring in my car and then uses a program called FORSCAN to calibrate the stereo system?
Am I missing anything? Thanks in advance for your help!
