I’ve got just under 300k ford points about to expire. There is nothing in the accessory or parts catalogue I am all that interested in.

im thinking about getting something that would be easy to flip on eBay, FB marketplace or something. The points are worth about $1400.

1) any suggestions on what may have a decent secondary market?

2) I’d be game to buy something on someone’s behalf with my points and ship it direct for $1000. Not sure if anything on there is worth what they price it at though.

They don't expire as long as you make a qualified transaction. Go to your parts counter and buy an oil filter. That keeps the accumulated points active.
What he said. Go to your dealer and use your points to buy a pen or windshield wipers. That will reset the clock/calendar. Just do that every year.

If nothing else, use the points to get free oil changes for the foreseeable future.

What’s the P/N for hookers and blow? Get that.

Seriously though, the Winch kit probably the easiest to flip. The mount isn’t worth much but the winch itself can go on any vehicle and was retailing for double what the kit costs.

Routine service stuff also good ways to burn the points. Free oil changes (if you trust them), or even just consumables - that was a great suggestion.

That was a suggestion my salesman made. And, when you buy wipers or a pen, you get a few points.

Do you have an extended warranty? I used 350,000 points to buy mine through Granger. Otherwise, like others have suggested just continue to pay for your scheduled maintenance with them.

flip on eBay, FB marketplace or something
Keep it local on our 6G forum. If you‘re hot to sell the points buy the winch setup @Beachbum suggested plus their “recovery kit“ on a discount, drop ship to a buyer and call it a day to clear $200+ for no pain other than dealing with on online idiot (or an easy to deal with person on this forum - I’ve done a dozen deals with regular members locally and via shipping and all have been ace).

That or whatever @Brian_B first said. Or second. Or first.

I agree with Beach Bum to keep your points running. But the winch kit at $840(?), that includes a $1000 winch (Warn Zeon S), may get your money back by selling the winch and mount separately.
I 2nd this comment.

Wow that's a lot of points! They do need to be used up or they will expire. I got a notice from Ford that mine had an expiration date. There was nothing I really wanted either at the time. After looking at so many things, I settled on the Ford Performance rear differential cover. I really wanted the cab cover but it only fits with the top off. That would have worked great for the times I have to park the Bronco in the brutal FL hot sun. The differential cover worked out nicely though and looks great installed.

$1400 worth of pens and wipers. Everyone needs those! You could be like that guy in the parking lot, "come look in my trunk".
