  7. Does the prewired trailer connection do anything?

    No I went for them to install everything. I have no clue why they wouldnā€™t do the install. I was under the same impression that Ford did the programming. Only thing I can think of is maybe they would bypass the factory installed plug and wire into taillights and run a 12v power wire to battery. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

    I went to my dealership service department to schedule install of hitch and wiring and was told they donā€™t do that and gave me a number to another non-dealership location. So much for programming by Ford. ????
