Isn't there supposed to be an oil chute at the oil filter on the 2.3L? My 2026 doesn't have one!

Been driving my new BL a bunch since pickup 9 days ago and already at 700 miles. Thought I would do my due diligence before forgetting and get my break-in oil change in. I've never had a Bronco before, but know there is SUPPOSED to be an oil chute on the 2.3L just behind the driver CV.

Can any new recipients check theirs and verify if it is there or not? I'm also missing my center console lock, so I am already building a list of missing items to get remedied. Knowing if this is a 2026 wide issue or just me would be helpful. Knowing there was a chute, due to all the videos out there, I made my own catch before things got messy.

From your pictures, it looks like it’s there. Just the small black plastic piece under the filter.

Oh never mind, I see what you’re talking about now.

You’re missing this piece:

I think it should still be there for 26MY, I don’t see anything in the parts catalog showing they stopped using it.
Part number is RB3Z-6N634-A

Weird. I was just looking for the part number for this piece like 30 minutes ago.... I'm going to modify one with magnets so that I can snap it in, change the oil, then remove it for cleaning. Tired of reaching up and making a feeble attempt at cleaning it. Yes I'm a neat freak.

Not sure what year your Bronco is, but this part number is specific for 25+
21-24 there’s a different number.

Dealer looked at it and noted both the center console lock and the shield/chute as a "miss build"; will get them ordered. Wonder what else was missed .

Thanks to those who provided feedback, including my misspellings.
