Having driven Jeep Wranglers for 25 years - the first being a YJ - I quickly found the short wheelbase advantageous except in two scenarios: it's more difficult to keep on a straight track, and one can turtle them in a situation where the near-vertical object to crawl over, up and over the top. However, on-road twitchiness and ride comfort sacrifice attributable to a short wheelbase have been largely engineered out. And I wouldn't try the later scenario anyway. The payoff remains: these 2-doors maneuver like a garden tractor, enabling them to negotiate some situations easier than the 4-door counterparts.

I guess the 4 door Heritage is a bit of a contradiction or paradox to what we deem the Heritage supposed to be.......
As well as a Heritage Edition with mid/high/Lux packages

$44.7 for a regular cab F150 is crazy in that trim. I had in successive years a 1990 XLT regular cab 4x4, a 2000 XLT regular cab 4x4, and a 2010 STX regular cab 4x4. I had up with a 2020 Ford Ranger Lariat FX4 extra-cab. By decent truck I mean what would be a Lariat 2 door regular cab FX4 in todays trim. It's not available. But the 2 door BL Bronco was and here we are. My other vehicle is a Honda ridgeline, and it gets the majority of the miles.

Why I have a two door? …. “Me and you and a dog named Boo”. (Translation me, my girl and my dog. No room for you). Song by Lobo 1971.

Yes I’m a grandpa and can still carry two grandkids in a pinch.
Love my 2 door…. Now if I can only figure out how to live off the land.

Keep preaching that gospel brother and keep doing God’s work!

The softening and Karen’ing of America may be our current state, but if we keep fighting the good fight, maybe we can save some of these poor souls who are ready to move towards the light.

Sometimes i feel like I’m on here fighting the fight alone, then a shining new Knight appears and we have the 2 Dr Cartel getting after it; I have some hope! :)
Do not worry my brotha...were here...just sittin in the back quietly watching this shit show unfold!

Indeed! I learned to drive with Dad's 1967 Ford Ranger, "three-on-the-tree". 2-door, of course, because 4-door trucks were quite rare then. It's like sticking with one woman and the same good friends as the years go by; it's important to us. It's close to home.

Dad would like my new Bronco. The Velocity Blue isn't far off from the color of that old Ford pickup.

My wife's first car was a blue 1970 Maverick. Three-on-the-tree. I like a woman that can drive a manual transmission.
Ford has certainly gotten a lot of mileage out of the Maverick name. As a kid, it was the car above the Pinto. Then the Ford Maverick was a rebadged Nissan Patrol sold in Oz. And next, the first generation Escape produced in Taiwan was badged Maverick. I almost bought a new one on the mainland.

When you see something that you love , you better get it. I did it with my 2022 2dr Manual, cloth seats. The only way to convince me to get a new one is a V6/8 manual, which sadly won’t happen.

Have you guys seen the 2025 Stroppe Edition? It's 2 door only and pretty sweet. I think the rumors of the 2 door going extinct are premature and exaggerated.

I tried to read all 17 pages, but I may have skimmed over a few things. Let me know if I missed something. I think I got all the important stuff...

2.) 2-door purists get emotional.
3.) 4-door owners get defensive.
4dr owners are dismissive, 2dr owners are defensive. Imeen geez, get it right!!

I purchased a 4dr while patiently waiting for Ford to build my 2dr, both WIldtrak/Lux. I ordered a 2dr because the WB=100.4 vs my previous LJ Rubicon 103 and Bronco OAL=173 vs LJ OAL=171; very similar. The LJ Rubicon has been lauded as "one of the best offroad vehicles ever," largely due to the wheelbase with Rubicon option.
Living with both Broncos: 4dr is definitely more suitable for those who prefer an everyday SUV that is also a capable off roader. The 4dr is better as an only car for a family. The 2dr is very cool for a young single.
Offroad, while the 4dr Sasquatch is a very capable vehicle, it is more likely to high center and is more difficult on tight mountain switchbacks-even with the neat brake assisted tight turn feature. When you need to turn around on a narrow shelf road, the 4dr OAL and WB makes the 4dr more stressful...
IMO, the 2dr is the best offroad Bronco and so far has proven to be much easier to wheel vs the Jeep LJ and is extremely better when used on the road as a car. Bottom line: how are you going to use? Our 2dr is primarily trailered to the farther away trails or driven for day use to the closer front range trails. It provides the exceptional offroad performance we want. Around town it is a fun car to drive, but trips to Costco won't bring as much home. Our 4dr was much easier for 4/5 passenger use, but we are empty nesters. We typically remove the back seat bottoms when wheeling to make a flat platform for the dog. I also believe the 2dr looks better and capitalizes more to the original...
Ford correctly realizes the major markets for the Bronco are the population centers and 'Burbs with many of these infrequently put into 4 Low. The 4dr sales volume allows lower amortized costs for the 2dr, and that is good. I appreciate Ford keeping the 2dr for the minority who use it as an infrequent second or third car and are interested in more extreme off roading. Lastly, consider a 2025 Base 2dr with Sasquatch--low cost and capable!

Just got back from the Ford dealer in Dixon, CA. About 20-30 4-doors on the lot, and only 2 two-door Broncos (one Heritage with leather, and one other green something). I wouldn't say there are a lot of 2-doors on the lot.

Guess I'll keep my Base 2Dr V6/auto. I was thinking of a red or blue Heritage 2-Door, but don't like the $70,000 MSRP tag for the one I saw. I think my MSRP in late 2022 (non-SAS) was $35,000.
