Found someone locally that has a Ford Performance winch for the factory modular bumper. When I look at the winch on the Ford Performance Parts website it says it “does not fit Raptor”

I have searched and found conflicting information about what winch will actually fit, and some say none without some additional modifications.

Two questions.
1. had anyone fitted this winch to the raptor. And what modifications were necessary?
2. why would Ford make a truck with a modular bumper with a winch cutout and not make it somewhat easy to put a winch on there. Especially a raptor.

Most run a setup that supports keeping the two inner parking sensors, the ACC box if you have ACC, and a camera relocation update. Everything else is the same on the bumpers except for additional wiring harness for the dual fogs and gap fill brackets for the top of the bumper.

I run the FP winch on my raptor. No fitment issues. I have relocated my camera and sensors and all are working fine. The reason its listed as not compatible is because ford does not offer updated airbag calibration for the raptor.

im not concerned.

Awesome. That’s the answer I needed.
I can grab this winch for $800’ish and figured if it wasn’t too bad I would give it a go at installing but want to have all the parts.

Sensors can be relocated as well. The ACC box does not need to be moved. Mine functions as normal in the original location.

Awesome. The holes I assume had to be drilled (looking at another couple photos here) and the park sensor wires needed to be extended?
No big deal either way I just line in an urban area and do want those to work and I also need to go to a buddies house to do the work as I have no room.
Thanks for posing the pic with the sensors.

Yeah, I bought premade extensions for the sensors from a vendor here. You’d need to do a search as I forgot which vender it was.

I would highly recommend this route, rerouting the existing is a PITA.

Its Rough Country, you have to call them, its not listed on their site. Part number 947000011 - FORD 2021 BRONCO PROX SENSOR EXTENSION.

I thought it was RC, but was reluctant to send them in the wrong direction.

Thanks for the info to everyone.
Buying the winch for $300 back of the normal cost will help.

Bolts right up!

I know this is an older post... but Woodsman44, I like what you did w/winch... and it's just the bar removed

I'm been looking at ways to reduce the oversized image we get from the winch. Did you consider any other changes than just removing the bar?

I'm thinking of a relocation of the control pack under hood [add a top cover instead], add a front rope covering silver, clocking the clutch, to back side. Paint the plate silver... but yours looks nice maybe the BRaptor paint style for a Badlands.

Thanks
