Very cool. The double horn honk is the worst!

The auto start stop says it also disables the Battery Management System...I wonder if that is needed or helpful for anything else.
Hmm... The site I got that from for the 2021 f150 says it "simulates a steering input" to trick the system and prevent Auto Start/Stop (or as I like to refer to it, "ASS mode"). Can anyone else provide more info? I, too, would be concerned of losing battery management features, whatever that is...

I've seen no negative impact from using this mod so far. But I'd still like to know how it works...

Thanks. Which unit do most guys here use? I don't have a windows pc, so would the Bluetooth version do everything we would need it to?
I had success with the bluetooth version. USB version should work too, but I prefer the diagnostic capabilities of using my phone with the bluetooth adapter down the road, so I stuck with a wireless one. You'll need the test/beta software I posted a page or so up in the thread for it to work correctly.

I have a Ross-Tech VAG-COM cable that I used on VW's. Will this work with ForScan?

I’m going to spend some time digging through that Google Sheet - but, looking to switch the 12v in the cargo to hot 24/7. Someone on another thread mentioned that was possible for their 2020 Raptor.

There are a few other mods I’m excited about.

Benefits/downsides to wireless ODB reader vs classic windows laptop version? (besides cost).

FYI - this looks to be what I’m looking for. I’ll report back once I get my reader and attempt this mod.

So I have a question for you Forscan experts. I am considering Forscan for the following three changes. I know that we will be able to change the behavior of the first item on my list (Auto Start and Stop) but do you think the other two are possible?
  1. Disable Auto Start Stop (or change it so that it saves your setting between starts).
  2. Allow sway bar disconnect to work in 2-wheel drive and 4-auto.
  3. Turn on dash indicator that shows what gear the auto transmission is in.
Thanks for your help!
