@MWILD you should try stacking this with the Ford Performance tune. Also, here’s a fellow 6Ger offering the exhaust you’re interested in.

this is basically a rebodied JB4.. I wouldn’t recommend stacking one on top of a tune already

Thanks for the heads-up on the exhaust.

There’s been a few people on the forums to stack piggyback devices on top of the Ford Performance tune. You can usually only set it to map 1 or similar, but there are gains to be made. No one has provided any data on the gains though. I had thought about experimenting with the lower cost RaceChip for $239. I liked the one I had on my 2.0 Turbo Wrangler. Might be enough to add a few lbs of boost.

I took my Badlands 2 Door 2.3L 7MT from 8.0 stock to 6.9 with just a simple Flowmaster exhaust and a K&N Cold Air Intake. No tuning. It was also stock Badlands wheels and tires, since I have upgraded to Sasq wheels and tires, but have not done any 0-60 runs.

That’s awesome! The 2.3L really open up with an exhaust. Big HP and TQ gains.

Following.

Personally I have no desire to squeak out the fastest 1/8 mile I can out of my 2.7 but I think the OP's adventure in his quest to do so interesting. Everyone has different goals for their Bronco which is awesome.

Good luck with your pursuit!!

I’ve had the FP tune and a JB4 on map 3 for the last ~15k miles with no issues on 93 alone. I don’t have any data on gains, but it moves pretty well.

That’s interesting to hear. Did you notice decent improvements after installing the JB4 on top of the FP tune? Surprised you’re not having issues with Map 3 being too much boost.

I had the JB4 for a little while before the FP tune. The JB4 made quite a difference, but to be honest I didn’t notice too much of a difference after adding the FP tune in addition. Really the only reason I wanted it at that point was for the transmission tuning, which was great. I was curious if it would be too much also at the time, but I closely monitored A/F and some other PIDs for a while after and it’s perfectly safe.
