  1. Complete Lemon to this point

This stuff isn't "lemon-law" material unless the dealer has made several attempts to fix the same problem and can't. Sounds like more a result of an incompetent dealer unable to satisfy a customer. Stuff happens, but a good dealer will be able to handle said stuff in a satisfactory manner...
  2. New correct dipstick (here's part number) solves 2.7L 7-quarts engine oil capacity / maximum fill amount mystery! šŸ•µšŸ»‍ā™‚ļø

Just more speculation. Where's the FoMoCo employee that sometimes frequents this forum.....funny how he's not shown himself on this thread(or other dipstick threads) isn't it? Dad was a Ford dealer, I was a Ford dealer back in the 80s and my brother is currently a Ford dealer. We've seen some...
  3. New correct dipstick (here's part number) solves 2.7L 7-quarts engine oil capacity / maximum fill amount mystery! šŸ•µšŸ»‍ā™‚ļø

Ok....just more speculation then. Thanks for clearing that up. My whole problem with this situation is; why is Ford still initially filling the engine with 7.5qts of oil. There is not 1.5qts of oil left in the engine after you drain the oil.....even with 2 turbochargers in the system. I've...
  4. New correct dipstick (here's part number) solves 2.7L 7-quarts engine oil capacity / maximum fill amount mystery! šŸ•µšŸ»‍ā™‚ļø

"Maybe 7qts sits too high in the pan and at extreme angles (e.g. off road) the higher 7qt level will come in contact with the crankshaft, aerating the oil and decreasing lubrication when you need it most? So, running a qt over won't cause damage to the engine in most cases (on road)." It's does...
  5. Console 12V Constant Hot modification?

I did the same (straight from the battery….fused)for the same reason…….no problem
  6. Front jack point

    Thanks!
  7. New SSM 51014 released by Ford explaining 2.7 engine dipstick confusion

WTF. I’ve been on a lot of automotive forums over my 68 years but I’ve never seen grown people quivel over bs like this…..it does not matter. Ford says run 6, or 7 quarts if you wish…..enough said. If anyone finds some factual info from Ford Motor Company about how the 6 verses 7 situation came...
  8. Show us your installed wheel / tire upgrades here! (Pics)

Looks great! That’s a really great practical size tire for true off-roading In our Broncos.
  9. Front jack point

I guess I missed this bit of information. It’s so good to have experts like this dude here! He knows a lot about most everything.šŸ˜‰ There isn’t a really good place to lift the front like the OP wants to do…..it won’t hurt a thing to lift at the lca but as mentioned, use a jack with a good...
  10. Dealer Shout-Outs for Honoring Price

The dealer is my brother…….it’s a great Ford store!
  11. Meet the "Lil' Mule"! - Adventures, Mods and Missions of a 2022 Velocity Blue Bronco!

Very nice! I love the functional simplicity of your Bronco. The performance is built in. I did the same with mine.
  12. Propane tank set up - installed on tailgate reinforcement support

It’s great to have experts here!
  13. Propane tank set up - installed on tailgate reinforcement support

I think that carrying a full propane bottle unprotected on the back(or front) of a motor vehicle is illegal per the Texas Railroad Commission. I’ll add that I could be wrong. I’ll check with my service manager tomorrow. I should also add that I really like your setup!
  14. Show us your installed wheel / tire upgrades here! (Pics)

Those tires look great on those wheels.....I'm a BIG fan!!!!
  15. Got stuck in some water the other day. Looking for input on what to keep an eye on/change.

I won’t be buying a used Cyber BD in Florida…..just kiddin’…..sort of Seriously, clean it up good and you’ll be fine. From looking at the pictures it’s not really bad at all.
  16. Pre-owned Broncos - high inventory and high prices.. why?

Supply and demand. There is not a ā€œhigh inventoryā€ of Broncos, if there was, prices would be msrp……period
  17. Steelies with New Positive Offset, No Flares, tall tires/narrow body.

I’m afraid that to keep the tire inside the fender lip the wheel would look really strange.…..I certainly wouldn’t consider running them. The 10.50 35 17s on the stock BD steelie wheels are as close as I could get. I’m extremely pleased with this setup both on and off-road. This is my second set...
  18. Steelies with New Positive Offset, No Flares, tall tires/narrow body.

You won’t find any wheel that will put the tire completely inside the Bronco fender with a flare delete. I know, as I’ve looked. The +55 offset of the factory steel 16s or 17s is as close as you’ll get.
