So......What failed? It appears the clip is where it's suppose to be. Was it the collar are something else on the shock? I'd really like to know.
Got a pic of the collar?
Thanks
I'm currently working on an aluminum bracket that will attach via existing bolt holes in the rollbar so the center rear latch on the mid-roof will catch it.
I've been running around without a rear roof for several weeks with zero problems.....I'd just feel better about it with the rear of the...
You should get in touch with SVC…….they had a fitment problem with their Bilstein collars. They recalled mine. I received the new ones but never installed them……and won’t after seeing this.
Maybe it wasn’t a bad collar…..maybe it was…..anxious to find out. Keep us posted.
Yes, no lift or level and zero rub at all. I like the BD steelies on my Badlands . The Kendras fit my need perfectly. They balanced really well and ride great with 32lbs cold. I’ve run them off-road at 18lbs several times and they’ve performed very well.
Most all have seen that…….you win…..I’ll run 7…..you run 6 🤣
Wait! One more thing:

Who said that they overfilled the engine at the factory? Yes, it showed a quart over on the original dipstick, but who's to say it was the correct dipstick?
Unless I'm mistaken, the initial fill is still 7.5qts.
I'm of the opinion to use 6, or 7, whichever floats your boat. Ford said it doesn't...
What does Ford currently say is the initial fill?
I know that mine showed at least one quart over full on my dipstick when I recieved it.....and I know I'm not the only one.
Thanks for the physics lesson Mike!
Yes, the old bikini tops all ballooned at highway speeds....that was just part of the deal back then. But we put up with it and had some protection from the sun and afternoon thunderstorms.
They attached to the windshield frame and over the rollbar.....very...
I vote for the JTop, but that said, I really don't care for any of the current manufacturer models.
The mesh may be fine to help keep a bit of direct sun off of the passengers, but they don't offer any other protection from the elements.
I've run the vinyl bikini tops on several older Jeeps and...
Yep, stay out of the boost. Impossible to do completely, but watching the boost gauge and developing a feel for it, you can certainly get better fuel economy.
