Last year I waited 4 months after my Bronco was build. One rumor was a B-Pillar issue. Sure enough it arrived with discoloration on one of the pillars, looks like it was dipped in acid. Makes me wonder if the āfixā was to just ship it and deal with it through service.
The replacement part was...
I went with Rhino deflators and a Smittybilt compressor. Saved a bundle versus ARB and theyāre great (even came with an air gauge).
one caveat on the Smittybilt: you will see all kinds of retrofits to make it pass through. Go for it if you like doing those things, but a simple open flow air...
$400 for 4 door bags plus harness still in plastic. I live outside Raleigh and prefer local meet/pickup. I will keep it here for a week before posting on the marketplace.
I didnāt want to take it out of the bag, but there are two door bags in each of the large bags (how it cam from Ford).
Iām getting one for each side. How securely do they hold the fishing rod? How confident are you at expressway speeds and are the rods and reels safe from damage?
I bring a 9ā and 10ā rod for surf fishing and they donāt pack well. It would be great to have them on my hood on the way to the...
I bought one like this. Simple, works well, and blends in with the vehicle. A thief could ransack the Bronco and likely not notice this since it blends in with all the plastic up top. Mine is less shiny (blends in even better), but no idea where I bought it last year.
I wouldnāt touch the aux...
based almost solely on this review, I plan to do similar. Heat reduction is a major goal so Iām planning to even do the rear windows for an extra $100.
Just wondering what your impressions are now that youāve had it for some time. Does it keep the Bronco cool on trips, when parked, etc?
Not really a mod, but the deep sleep mattresses (set up on top of Ford drawer) make all kinds of trips easier. Iām just getting started, but theyāre about to be 2 for 2 on beach camping.
The KO2s look great and are excellent for general use and creeping around. They load up with sand really fast. Iāve struggled in places the Bronco should shine because the treads were all jammed up. Iām going to look elsewhere when the time comes to upgrade to 35s.
Iāve been on the beach enough to start using my own decisions. Still think Ford is remapping the throttle in some modes making minor moves easier). Iād probably still use GOAT for any creeping type off-road. Thatās not something we can duplicate. Sand is much easier.
spent a weekend camping and fishing at Cape Lookout last fall. So much fun we are going back next month. Beach was pretty empty on our last day so we had some extra fun. I wonāt say how fast, but we were cruising.
I use the leveling pads underneath the head section. slept on this multiple times now and itās great. I donāt even stuff a blanket underneath. Perfectly comfortable as shown in the video (blow up the pads fully though)...
I posted this months ago and had a few recommendations to make it a stand alone thread. Saw some new power train questions so thought Iād unearth this summary.
The GOAT modes both make 4 wheeling easier and more mysterious. I consider myself extremely knowledgeable about powertrains, but not an...
That doesnāt work. Most annoying feature in the history of automobiles and Ford does it 100% by choice. Maddening. I donāt have a keypad because they look too dorky for life.
The Ford drawer assembly picked up a squeak. Iām going to pull the drawer out and tighten everything back down. If that doesnāt fix it Iām returning to the dealer.
If I still lived in Michigan where the roads are consistently awful, the soft top might be too much. In North Carolina itās not too...
