35ā 315s with SAS wheels to be precise. If you are buying thinner tires (35ā 15.5s) then modified crash bars might be the safest bet. It is entirely possible tire width extending beyond the frame enough is more important that diameter. Might even be likely.
I went non-SAS on my ā22 when SAS wasnāt much more. Didnāt like the SAS wheels or tires. I now want the 35ā look after my KO2s are pretty well worn. That means:
1. Ready Lift modified crash bars
2. Zone 1ā level
3. Rough Country brake light extender
4. 35ā X 11.5ā Wildpeak AT4Ws
No need to...
Iāve done it twice, the clips on my Bronco flip over but are otherwise fine. Itās not something I want to tempt though. Trim damage is pretty minimal, plan to sand and paint.
Design idea for Ford: Rotating clips that donāt stick straight up would clear my (and many other) garage. 3ā extra...
Odd things happen constantly. Freezing up, CarPlay not connecting, blank screen, losing my home address is nearly constant and massively annoying since I pay for Nav. In general, the software blows. A non-stop source of frustration.
oh well
I bought the one that mounts to the Ford badge, but would buy this one if starting over. Get the MagSafe charging option for sure. Clean, convenient, easy to use, no goofy cylinder jutting out from the dash.
1. Value. I got so much more for my money based on a 2020 reservation. At 10,000 miles I could still sell the Bronco for more than I paid. Even way back in 2020 when this wasnāt obvious, B&P for a comparable Jeep was about $5-7k more.
2. Ride Quality. I simply couldnāt stomach the ride...
Aftermarket soft top that goes all the way back (like others have mentioned). Mine will wear out in a few years so the clock is ticking. Think Iād go OEM over Bestop if forced to choose right now. Not a fan of the half-back look.
Also not sure it would fit under my garage door or work parking...
I have the Ford drawer installed. Even with that I just let it dry. I do avoid having items in the back if thereās a chance of rain. Other than that, let it rain and drive as you normally would. Nothing bad happens.
Iāve been in the rain many times, mostly with the top up (rear windows out). A few times it started raining with the top fully back and I had to stop to put it up. No issues with the speakers any of those times. With the top up and rear windows out the back does get pretty wet. The back of my...
Boulder Tools tire deflators ($30) and a Jaco open flow air chuck ($25) for my Smittybilt air compressor. When itās 92 degrees out every minute counts.

I am genuinely not trying to debate here, every situation is unique. The one thing I promised myself in September of 2020 is that I wouldnāt shake from my Bronco order. No matter what. No. Matter. What.
I put up with a lot of twists, turns, disappointments, delays. But now I drive an awesome...
