I wouldn't locktite it if I were you. Just bear down on the bolts, especially the top one. I've had the doors off and on numerous times, and the first time or two the bolts walked out a bit. But if you tighten them--I mean really tighten them---they don't back out.

They're MT's, so that's why they are so aggressive. Not sure of the size. They don't appear to be 315/70/17's which would be 34.4. If you're not familiar with offroad tires (you may be), the MT's will give you that aggressive look but will also give you the lovely "wha-wha" sound going down...

From what I've read on here, you could go taller--maybe 34.something--but wider would be the issue. Eithwr way, you'd more than likely either have to go with no crash bars or the modified ones you can buy.
