I must have had different expectations for the Bronco lol. I have never owned a fully open-air vehicle...just an 88 Bronco with the removable half-cap. But I spent all last summer with either the soft top half down or all down and the doors off. LOVED IT. The wind noise isn't that bad to me...
A quick Google search tells me that the bolt pattern is the same: 6x139.7. Another variable is the offset...do the wheels clear the brakes.
I will keep my opinion of whether you SHOULD do this to myself.
I mean... My 16-year-old son would love it. Maybe because he looks at things for what they are instead of judging intent based on his own preconceptions and tastes.
Tone down the wheels/tires and it might not be that bad.
It 100% depends on your dealer. I spoke with mine before I took delivery. They told me they see mild to moderate mods on cars all the time and don't worry too much about it. He said as long as I didn't do anything "over the top"--he said engine/computer mods for example--it shouldn't be a big...
I bought a used wheel/tire combo a few months ago to try on my Big Bend. 35/12.50/17's with Fuel wheels with a +6 offset.
Anyway, they have some rock rash on them. Not a huge deal, but I was looking to dress them up a little bit rather than spending $$$ right now on new ones. I need...
I live in the area and I have a different opinion. Their reputation locally is not great, and my personal dealings with them when considering moving my order from another dealer raised some questions about their ethics.
Many dealers handle special order cars at MSRP, even some local to the...
21165. So June 14 if I did that right. And 12,461 on the odometer.
It's been to Austin for the Off Rodeo last summer and saw some mud on West Tennessee fire roads. Otherwise, driving around town and loving every minute.
Hey all! I was told to check into Big South Fork in Oneida TN. The person I was speaking with said they had offroad trails that could be combined with backpacking and tent camping in their backcountry.
Anybody with experience at Big South Fork with Jeeps and the like? I'd like to do this but...
Dude, it's a wrap. On a Bronco. Not a call to arms or a live reenactment of the classic Red Dawn. It may be played out as a color scheme, but it's still just a wrap.
So...to resurrect an older thread...has anyone done an at-home fix yet? I didn't mind the whistle so much with the top down and a mixture of nature-related noises. But now with the top up more due to weather it is getting annoying...
A friend told the story of putting their pineapple "Welcome to Our Home" flag out in the yard of their new home. They promptly got a visit from their "friendly" neighbors. 😂
Ha! My wife was worried about the same thing!
1. There are rubber feet on the bottom of the door.
2. The angle is acute enough that it won't slide *hopefully*
3. The carpet acts as a sort of ledge.
It is super sturdy so far.
I finally got around to making a caddie for the doors. I had been putting them on the couches in the mancave...not ideal. Eventually I will get door bags, but this will do until then.
I bought these at Harbor Freight...I went to buy wooden ones but these were cheaper ($25 I think). As you...
