I think you're right. I was completely naive about the buying process...I had never ordered a new car. I never got so much as an initial lol. But they played it straight with me and I got the Bronco for MSRP.
Now, I didn't get the swag you did...I hate you for that!
Congrats! But you may have to find another board to post all of this positive stuff on. You Ford homer, you!
Seriously, though, I'm gl a d you had a good experience. I did, too, and I want to believe most Bronco owners have.
I do this as well! I'm 6'2", and especially if someone drives it before me and pulls up the seat, when I get in my lanky legs hit the knob. And sometimes if I twist the wrong way getting out I'll do it too.
BTW...do you ever look at a word and have no idea if you spelled it right, and it...
Wow! Glad you are ok. Thanks for the response. I drive my Bronco daily, with some combo of my kids most often, so I'm always interested in real world experiences regarding safety.
Wow! That's good to know! I'm sure you have addressed this previously, but did it seem to legitimately be enough damage to total, or were parts so hard to come by that it was totaled when another vehicle might not have been?
And, of course, I assume everyone was ok.
Ok, ok...I'll play.
1. Jeep is still the iconic customizable offroader. Until the Bronco is as ubiquitous as the Wrangler, it will continue to be this way. And that's ok. It makes my Bronco "special."
2. Cactus gray has started to bore me. I've had mine 15,000 miles and love it. But I was...

This may be the worst take of all time!
1. The "classic" Bronco had a fully removable top, didn't it?
2. I had an 88 with the fixed front portion. Give me a full convertible all day every day!
Excuse my ignorance...I'm new to this whole offroad navigation thing. Looking on GAIA...did you just follow the labelled county roads from Alley Springs to Blue Spring Trail?
I would be interested in more trail info, as well. On the Mark Twain website, it only mentions ATV/UTV trails specifically. It certainly looks like a beautiful place to explore.
I'm a Ford guy at heart, and I've had my Bronco for 10 months and love it.
That having been said, if you have the itch and the financial ability, buy a Jeep as a stopgap. They are after all what the Bronco was designed to compete with. If I were in your shoes, I might buy a slightly used Jeep...
Looks great!
I have a Big Bend 4-door and have the 4wp 2.5 inch level-lift and 35's. It's been a great setup so far. I originally tried 33's on stock wheels but it didn't have the right proportions.
I actually like the stock wheel with your color scheme. You could lift it and put 35's on those...
What a perfect analogy! This site is those dumb parenting books and the sensible posters are your parents and others who keep telling you to not worry and just let her cry!
If youe salesman broke the clips before he got it off the lot, he had no clue what he was doing IMO. I've taken mine off and put it on dozens of times--as have my teenage kids--and it is holding up fine 14,000 miles in.
Has anyone investigated fabricating a receiver for the front? Maybe something like this that connects to the current tow hook brackets?
I know we would have to be careful not to block the intercooler vent, and as I have the Mid package only I wouldn't have camera/sensor issues in the front.
It...
