That's right! The solution all along was to just build a Jeep replica! <sarcasm emoji>
Seriously...it's a different vehicle so it needed a different top.
I guess my dealer is the exception rather than the rule. Chose one around 35 minutes away rather than the one in my town. Have had the hood seal replaced due to whistle, the tailgate strut replaced due to failure, and a few odds and ends. Each time, I got in within three days and was in and out...
I understand left foot braking just fine...offroad or racing. But in normal driving?
That said, my father drove with both feet as long as I can remember. The tricky part came when diabetic neuropathy meant he couldn't feel his feet lol.
An interesting update:
I removed the sunshade over the winter, and when I went to reinstall it, I was missing this piece on one end of the support bar:
I called, they couldn't identify the part (it's not in the supply list of the instructions), so they told me to send an email with pictures...
Not at all trying to hijack your thread @madfella lol... Apparently we Samsung folks are few and far between, and nobody's checking the thread I made on that.
Here's my effort to incorporate my cactus gray. Messed around in GIMP and saved the results as a png...
Inspired by this thread, I played around with the Facer program this morning and made a Big Bend Bronco face for my Samsung Active2. I will add a few more faces as I have time over the next day or two. I encourage any who are so inclined to try it out...it's relatively easy...
I played around in Facer this morning. Here is my Big Bend watch face for Samsung. I haven't tried it out on mine, but if anyone wants to...

Edit: Here it is on my Active2:
Ding ding ding! I think we have a winner! Can't believe I didn't think about this. My old tires/wheels are stacked in my shop. I rotated my new tires there and even parked in there a few nights while the doors were off.
Thanks!
In before the "the dash computer isn't accurate" crowd takes over.
Regardless, being in that ballpark is pretty good! 60's is the sweet spot for my 2.7. Of course, the 35's kill my chances of seeing 20+.
The soft top? Gravity is the first benefit here...It's not exactly air-tight as it is, but rain doesn't get in this seal (so far). And the rubber gasket would close around the bracket I would think.
I have the IAG struts for the back lift, and I use it occasionally. But not enough to deter a design like this. Plus, when we arrive at a camping spot, I would unload the rack first, disconnect it, then I could raise the top as I needed.
I have begun planning for some summer roadtrips with the family in the Bronco. Though we have a four door, space is going to be tight. I have been researching options for external storage: receiver racks, over-the-spare racks (none currently for Bronco) and exoskeletons, like the GOBI rack...
