My dog would love a pad like this that would let her curl up on a nice level surface that takes up just half the back seat area (and with the passenger seat in a normal position). Any plans for something like that? We're all ears.
By that logic, "Bronco" would be a constraint.
Ford only details constraints for things that are options and if you want a 2 door you have no choice but to get the hard top, therefore Ford doesn't list the hard top as a constraint on the 2 door.
120 button presses but with no time limit. To me that implies Ford did this as a fail-safe so that factory mode would eventually be disabled in normal use by the buyer.
Why would they do that? Because they know they have lots of lazy incompetent dealers who don't properly PDI the vehicles...
Looking at the pricing details here Ford is (rightfully) trying to soften demand and force ADM toward zero for things that are in short supply like MIC, Sas, and Lux.
You and I aren't willing to pay it but the fact that others are still paying ADMs means this is likely to continue until supply...
I strongly suspect those wattages are "incandescent light output equivalent watts" or some other such nonsense. I'd suggest you get an ammeter involved and test them to see exactly what they're using. You'll likely be shocked by how little power they actually use.
Ford has already put the switches, relays and fuses in place with the aux switch setup. If it were mine I'd chop those harnesses down until they're just power and ground and take advantage of all the OEM wiring goodness.
Ford can easily re-open order banks and also deal with the shortages, they'll simply prevent dealers from placing orders with options that are in short supply.
I think it comes down to what most of the forum loves to moan and cry about: Allocations
Many of the highest volume Ford dealers in the US are in the Detroit area which means they get big Bronco allocations, and it seems that the volume of allocations is exceeding the demand from the local...
Same thing happened to my aunt and her 80s two-tone blue Suburban, back when every GM had both a square key and a round key. She unlocked it, loaded all her groceries in, then hopped in the driver's seat and tried to start it. The key wouldn't turn. As she was wondering "WTF?" she looked...
With Ford stamping out 100k+ Broncos per year, I knew Buck would never be unique, but I also never expected to walk out of the grocery store one day to see his doppelganger parked right beside him!
I can tell you exactly why I did that: Privacy.
I don't want my personal info easily gleaned and out of respect for my stablemate there at the grocery store I extended the same privacy to them.
