That list will be terribly misleading for those who don't pay attention to detail. The nice, shiny, easy to reference Yes/No column is for a totally different Ford spec than what the Bronco calls for.
Lots of cars have these vents, but they're usually down low, hidden behind the bumper cover. Ford could've done that with the Bronco as well but it would've been a bad idea when it comes to water ingress.
I've got a few questions about this device:
1. Does it disable auto start/stop by re-configuring modules or emulating the signals sent by the button on the dash?
2. Is the pedal position sensor connection required?
3. This device intercepts signals from two pressure sensors and modifies them...
Ford didn't go through that expense. Ford bought a camera module from a supplier that will recognize, among other things, traffic signs.
Using the camera to recognize signs is better than GPS because GPS is a static database that is out of date the moment it is published.
The round things are very short range sensors for parking assist.
The "big module" is used by the ACC and likely millimeter wave radar better suited to longer distances and higher speeds. Not sure if pre collision assist/AEB will use this sensor in addition to the windshield camera or not.
Just press buttons 'til it works!
Does anyone know if we're going to have to do the magic button dance after, say, the battery is disconnected? Or does it only need one magic button dance performed once and then it is set for life?
I'm not sure there's going to be very much knowledge on here concerning the Bronco Sport. You'd probably get more relevant answers from a Bronco Sport or Escape forum.
I suspect a "robotic" torque gun is already being used for that fastener. The human is only there to aim it and put fasteners on the end of the driver.
Need a bit more clarification.
Did Ford make the call to replace it? Or did your Ford dealer make the call?
If Ford made the call to replace it then that's big news.
If your Ford dealer made the call to replace it then that could still be subject to a chargeback against the dealer if Ford...
This makes me think the dealer put their own eMail address into Ford's system rather than entering yours.
Call Ford corporate with your order info and tell them you're not getting eMails and suggest that maybe there's a typo in the eMail address they have on file for your order.
In December I sold my Focus ST private party. It was shockingly quick and easy due to the demand for STs and I got over 30% more than I would have by trading it. I listed it in two places: Facebook and Cargurus. All the good leads came from Facebook while Cargurus was a total waste of time...
