If this were mine I'd be annoyed but I wouldn't be worried. Probably just a bad sensor or a wiring harness that wasn't plugged in all the way at the factory.
There's a selectable display in the instrument cluster that'll show numeric boost, oil temp, trans temp, and voltage values.

I don't think any Bronco has the Trailer Backup Assist function referred to by the chart.
You can try a value of E, and you'll know real quick if it won't work because you'll still have the configuration mismatch fault code.

Crappy materials
Crappy fit & finish
Crappy software/electronics glitches
The strange thing is, I don't give a crap! It is still a fantastic product that puts a smile on my face every time I drive it or even just glance back at it after I've parked.
If that grey box shows different colors depending on how far you are behind the car in front of you then that's controlled by an option in the menus in SYNC4. I think the checkbox is called something along the lines of Show Distance Indicator.
