  1. Came out of the grocery store earlier to find that someone had done this to the side of my Bronco

I was floored. Same color, 2 door, Outer Banks, Roast cloth, Sasquatch, Mod Bumper. I mean....what are the chances of that happening?!
  2. Received unexpected order cancellation email from Ford

Are you certain your order was linked to your reservation? I'm betting your dealer is staffed by morons who just threw a new order into the system at some point without bothering to link it to your reservation.
  3. Can any changes be made once you have a VIN?

I've read conflicting stories on this. Some say you can't make any changes after you get a VIN. Others say you can't make changes that would change the VIN (engine, # of doors, transfer case). Messing up price protection seems to have been a thing for MY22 orders. It doesn't seem to be an...
  4. Are Broncos on the assembly line also in sequential vin order?

When y'alls window stickers show up that'll give you the info you need to see how far apart they are on the line.
  5. 📧 Bad news Friday... official email from Ford: "Urgent information regarding your Ford Bronco order."

I wouldn't go that far, but I'll freely admit I'm a very happy Ford customer, even if I did have to wait 11 months for my order to come in.
  6. 📧 Bad news Friday... official email from Ford: "Urgent information regarding your Ford Bronco order."

Like Ford? Executing their plan to build Broncos? Point me to an automaker that decided to totally rework a product launch due to the pandemic.
  7. 📧 Bad news Friday... official email from Ford: "Urgent information regarding your Ford Bronco order."

You're completely ignoring the years of designing, testing, validating, planning, tooling, and contracting with supplers that was done BEFORE A PANDEMIC.
  8. 💰 Official: $2500 Order Modification Offer to Wildtrak Customers (switch trims) and Non-Wildtrak Customers (modify order to remove constraints)

Given the "All 2023s get a subwoofer....just kidding no they don't!" mess from a few weeks ago, I'd bet the issue is related to the audio system.
  9. Auxiliary Transmission Oil Pump fault detected after Check Engine light illuminates

I believe I recall reading a post by @flip stating that their service department has had to replace a few of these pumps in F-150s. The pump is there to maintain transmission pressure during engine shutdown by auto-start-stop.
  10. So, I took my own advice!!

Burning fuel without moving? That's known as 0 MPG. Of course it will drag the average down.
  11. 10/31/2022 build week group

By that logic, you should tell your dealer your Bronco is worth 6-7k less too. Fact is, cars don't just magically lose value on their model year birthday.

Gorilla Glass is glass that is manufactured using specific ingredients and processes to improve durability and scratch resistance. Exoshield is just a film that's applied over a piece of glass.

I was just in Detroit to pick up Buck and the weather wasn't anything crazy. Unless a once-in-a-generation weather event hits the storage yard there's no reasonable basis for concern. They're cars. They're designed for, and tested in worse weather than Michigan. That having been said, this...

I picked up "Buck" last night from Avis Ford in Southfield, MI. Stopped in at a famous Detroit landmark this morning to snap a few pics.

I was 876/942 and came off chip hold 11/18 and it was at the dealer the next business day. I'm sure there's a method by which Ford is sequencing units to install chips in, but based on the little information we can see we'll never figure out what that method is.

They told me that mine was on a chip hold and gave me the estimated delivery date range which turned out to be correct. I didn't ask for any other details.
