Tech inside the frame is an interesting idea. We are hoping for Rock Slide Engineering step/rail. Hopefully it will be just right.........we will be poor afterward but at least we can get in and out of the Bronco when we go rock crawling.

I just found these aftermarket crash bars. My Black Diamond SAS came from factory without crash bars so I have no concern about insurance of otherwise getting into trouble. If these are federally mandated, surely Ford would not be removing them..... maybe...

This video is informative.......I do not think it is an advertisement. The 2 commenst that caught my attention is the one about things inside the bronco frame making drilling a bad idea and that most makers are stating that body mount rails are strong enough.

Sometimes a tire maker will make their 315 and their 35 in different E or D ratings. If the E that I currently have proves too stiff/harsh I would consider the 35 if there was a D rated that I liked.

Reading about jacks makes me even more desirous to get the big heavy E rated tires. Any penalty they give is better than the penalty of gwtting a flat on the side of a mountain. I do appreciate all the ideas listed here as every tire can fail.
