To repeat what others have said and my experience confirmed:
Get it hot and let it drain for a loooog time. At 2 hours mine still dripped at 1 drop per about 20 seconds. Thats when I sealed it up and filled it up.
Only rough driving has been on dirt road that a mini van could navigate.
But it handled it great! Actually wash board roads were smoother than my F150.
1} I drove until the engine was hot. Parked and waited 20 minutes then removed the oil filter.
2} Let oil drain from filter housing for at least 20 minutes.
3} Removed drain plug and waited 2 hours until oil dripped 1 drop in about 20 seconds.

While changing my oil, I realized there is a tool that most of us need.
An old metal milk crate is near perfect for reaching the dip stick.
It sure helps just to see further down into the engine compartment as well.
We used Expel Black Universal Bed Rail Guard from Amazon.
It is not really armor, just a very tough, rather hard stick on tape. About 3 inch wide.
We put it on the rocker panel then attached our steps. You can go as high into the door well as you want.
It is pretty tough. I scratched at it...
The Black Diamonds auto transmission is tucked up pretty high but has no skid plate protection.
We drive through brush and deep snow. Either of these while not necessarily causing damage can accumulate under a vehicle. My F150 has limited underbelly plates and does that.
