I went to Motorcraft.com and looked under oil for gasolene engines.
I can not find a Motorcraft oil that is listed as wssm2c 961-A1.
How important is this spec? Mobil 1 and Castrol have oil shown to meet this spec.
I apologize, I mistook your question to be about the metal factory rock slider and the side steps.
The Lund plastic rocker panel protector does fit with the steps.
Sorry for creating confusion.
It looks great in the night time shots. But I notice that the 3 factory lights are much brighter.
Does this meet FMVSS for a 3rd brake light? Day time is my concern.
Come to my house! Instant fix.
We live several miles from pavement and have to drive gravel to get home.
The fine talc like powder from the road seems to lube many things.
It even fixed my F150 dash that the dealer said would have to be removed before they could begin to diagnose it.
Or try...
tjnoffy, there are the holes on the side of the pinch weld that you see in the pics above and then there is a bracket on the front and rear of both the steps and the slide rail thatyou can't see.
They both use the same bracket mounting location, it would be very hard to impossible to attach...
Redone17, Just took off my 2 door factory rock rails. They cover up the same area that the Lund product covers. The slider hardware fits into the 4 holes on the pinch rail. The Lund may come up just a little higher. I do not know the thickness of the Lund but there is not much room behind...
For a daily driver, I am 6'2" and would grow tired if I did not have steps.
The SAS is just too tall to crawl into everyday.
Rear seat is OK to get onto. Roomier than many expect. But, let me be honest. if the person has bad knees, can't bend, or is wide in the caboose a 2 door would be...
Adaptive driving beam headlights were recently OK'd by Fed DOT.
Basically this is a high beam ONLY system that controls individual LED chips to keep on coming traffic from being blinded while the rest of the beam pattern stays high beam.
I'd pay for this upgrade. Maybe, if I could afford it...
Within 2 weeks I went from seeing zero to 6 new Broncos.
This is just my narrow little world. Ford makes 300 Broncos per shift...or about that.
Everyday there are a dozen or more listed on Ebay. So over payers are getting their fix every week.
The mannequin Broncos will become available...
Does the Bronco have grease fittings/zerks anywhere?
I have not yet crawled under and was hoping to know before I go.
I've searched forum and can't find any posts.
