  1. SadScout Discovery....

It's all junk that is left to rot......until you ask about buying it. It then becomes a family heirloom. I know it's other peoples property but still think it's a shame.
  2. Hey nice Jeep!

We can't wait to take our Bronco out on some real jeep trails.!!
  3. Swapping Sasquatch Tires at Purchase

Territory tires are soft and rather cushy tires. They do ride nice on pavement. We went to Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT. Very tough and pretty stiff tire. But, it is suprisingly quite. Just watching the dashboard MPG, they are getting the same mpg average as the Territory. Bronco sideplate...
  4. Install MRT Hood Strut

Are the hoods strong enough when you pull them down? Seems that the struts putting enough upward pressure to hold up the hood would cause it to want to bend in the middle when you pull down on the front to close it.
  5. What armor/skid plates do I need for the 4-door Base?

In just to say: I ain't ever gonna laugh at someone looking to get smarter.
  6. Navigation on Lux vs High package?

My dealer said $80 per year for connected. When doing my "orientation" I asked why connected? The person said that built in navigation is soon going away. You have to buy a thumbdrive and plug that in to down load maps when ever there is an update that you want. Updates are done a couple times a...
  7. Auto Start-Stop Eliminator for Bronco is now available

OK I was a few centuries off on my silly chariot statement above. I think this is correct however, found an old Facebook discount code that still works, as of today. We saved 15% FBGM
  8. Off Road Maps that work on the Bronco, what is Working?

Our Bronco has what Ford calls connected GPS. Do these apps work equally well this this? Our phones are Apple.
  9. Auto Start-Stop Eliminator for Bronco is now available

2021.... can't you just push one button to disable ASS? 1921.... can't you just ride your horse instead of that dreadful auto-mobile? 1521... can't you just walk instead of riding in that horrid chariot? me? I'm buying a stupid ASS eliminator.
  10. 2.7 Gas Mileage - 11.2 MPG!?!

2.7, SAS and tires that weigh 72 pounds! 19 mpg small town and highway with lots of gravel at 50 mph.
  11. What 2023 new colors will some of us get to choose from?

Catus Gray is nice and it appears about 6 different colors.
  12. Tire Pressure concerning OEM 35” Goodyears

Just did chalk test on 315/70/17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT. 32 PSI is where they will run for a while.
  13. Rock Crawling a 2-Door Base w/ No Lockers, Manual Transmission -- @ Holcomb Creek Trail in Southern California

Your previous comment about the traction control is something I (as a grey-beard) did not consider. Is the traction control as useful as a limited slip differential? Maybe new fangled whiz bangs have a place in life.......maybe?
  14. Catch Can newbie question

Thanks.....I don't mind throwing $200 at a problem solver but would truly dislike buying trouble.
  15. Catch Can newbie question

Thank you for helping me understand this better! Sounds like I will save my money and spend it on other things that successfully advertise to me! Like racing strips.
  16. Catch Can newbie question

Reading here and there about catch cans. Seems someone always says they are not needed on the 2.7. If I get one is it just a waste of my money or is there any possibility that a catch can does harm to the motor?
  17. Has anyone considered street tires (all season) for their rig?

Great idea for your use. Just tell people you are getting back to the Bronco's roots. It is funny to see the old advertisements for Ford Bronco with tires that my mom would have used on her station wagon. Also. the big silver hub caps on the old Bronco's.
  18. Rock Rails, Side Steps, and Sliders.

Doetsch Off-Road has a special buy opportunity for bronco6g members. You get a discounted price, free shipping and a light kit included.....Very worth while.
  19. Do Most People That Off-road Need Lockers

It probably is not false advertisement as the wheels on one axle will both turn if they have the same grip. But without it, both axles can allow one tire to slip just like any 2 wheel drive car will if you do not have locks or limited slip.
