Looks great and best of all it works great.
I have not caught up with the idea that it is "a thing" to have fenders and then plan for your tires to stick out past them. Oh well.
I appreciate this. I found the Bronco Equipment Installation Guide on line.
133 pound max weight on the tailgate does not leave much extra capacity for Ssquatched models. Much better to find this out online than in the field!
PS: how did you know their was an Equipment Installation Guide...
ENGINE PRIME FUNCTION????
I have read the on line Owners Manuel. The word PRIME is not in it.
How does he know about this function. Is it something an owner should know about?
And thank you for posting this. I plan to do a very long drain interval next time.
Someone posted that the weigh tbearing capacity of the tailgate is 133 pounds. Above post says perhaps more.
With an after market tire it will be easy to get north of 100 pounds with just a spare.
I'm watching these posts to hopfully find a good solution for 5 gallons
What do you think about the factory Black Diamond set up?
With the area to the rear of the 2nd plate being so open, to my very untrained eye, it looks like a great place to get stuck on a rock.
The transmission is tucked pretty high up in the build so OK with that but my concern is the big hole...
When you use trail turn you do not have to wonder if it is turned on.
It makes the most noise of anything on a Bronco excepts perhaps the horn and radio turned to full blast all at once.
I had read about it or else I would have wondered if something was broken.
We had a Chrysler mini-van that had a sticker in the engine compartment declaring it met Light Truck emissions. Maybe it is a EPA designation as well as a regional name.
Hey DeztroShow, how is final delivery made to you?
I'd love to see some pics.
With the new highway, we have talked of a roadtrip north.....maybe we can make it someday.
Discussion is good. I tend to use what I have used., mostly because I have used it and nothing blew up.
Sometimes when a product is no longer made I panic.
Disposable front differ drain plugs are new to me.
Glad to have read it here then find out the hard way ..... far from home.
are the oem replacement drain going to be disposable also?
Amsoil has successfully advertised to me also. Been using their gear oil for years.
I used to scrape cork gaskets off and then used gasket juice. Once I knew about resuable gaskets, I would rather not go back to any other kind.
Rhymes ....I'm learning as I go. Your post spurred others to post! All good.
I have old ways and want to do a differential fluid drain around 2-3,000 miles.
I've done this for most of my vehicles and always amazed at the silver junk that comes out.
May not make a hoot of difference to help the...
I heard that the "new" Jeep M220 was an updated D44 and had re-usable gasket.
Is the Advantek 44 the update version?
Also, do M220 rears come in different ratios?
I will have gasket juice if I mess up the existing gasket.
It looks as if that will make a more rigid tailgate but not sure about making the hinges stronger.
It sure will add to the weight the hinges must carry.
