I'm starting to think about my next set of tires. I have the stock BFG K02 which I like. I was originally going to replace them with K02 or K03 when the time comes but I discovered Nokian tires.

Nokian is a Finnish company but the tires I'm considering (Nokian Outpost nAT) are made in Tennessee. They're better at ice, snow, wet pavement than the K02/K03 and are just as capable for regular off road. Nokian puts aramid fiber in the side wall compound to increase puncture resistance. Their 285/70 R 17 tires weigh ten pounds less than the K02s that came on my Badlands. They sell for about the same price.

They have a 30-day Satisfaction Guarantee with full refund. Just return them to the dealer you bought them from. They also have a 100% replacement Pothole Protection Warranty against roadside hazards for the first year that covers select tires including the Outpost.

Does anyone have any experience with Nokian tires?

They don't seem to make tires that fit the Wildtrack, Sas or Raptor.

I’ve heard good things about the Outpost but haven’t run them or seen any in the wild.

The Hakkapeliitas are legendary snow tires

Can you use that in a sentence please? What is the definition? 😁

They were Finnish soldiers who fought for King Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden during the 17th century. Known for fierce raiding tactics and a battle cry translating to "Cut them down!" (Hakkaa päälle).

Nokians are legit.

Their winter tires are absolutely the best on the market.

Whoever said they don’t have sas or wildtrack sizes is dead wrong. They offer both AT as well as winter tires in 315/70r17 and 285/70r17.

I was really considering Outposts but decided to jump to 37/38”, and they don’t go that large

I've put Nokian Encompass tires on a couple of Subarus. They were terrific in the snow, rode well and were quiet. My next set of tires for my Bronco will be the Nokian Outpost nAT

I couldn't find Outpost tires of those sizes on their web site.

Hmmm, they used to list them ...

Well regarded tire.
The nAT is on my short list for all the reasons you listed.
The other tire is the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT.

Tirereviews.com tested them both in winter driving and they were #1 and 2 in the rankings. Fantastic web web site by the way.

I just did a double check. They do have larger tires, but their tire finder will say they don't have all terrain tires for the Wildtrack or Raptor. So you'll have to search by tire size instead of vehicle make and model.

Ive used Nokian WRG all weathers on multiple cars and they are great. Cousin has outpost on the small toyota truck ans like them though he noted they get noisy after 60% life.

New Pirelli XTM are worth a look as well.

I had the K02 and K03 ended up with the Toyo RT trail and like them way better. I'm sure based off the tires you are looking at you would be more of a Toyo AT3 guy. My point isn't to sell you but more to say I didn't like the K02 or K03 that much so maybe worth trying something different.
