  1. Recall 26S35: 2025-2026 Bronco 2.3L Engine Assembly Replacement [May 28, 2026]

It's interesting that I cannot find any information online about this pending recall. The only source of it is this forum. All searches lead to this post. I realize this was a letter sent to Ford dealers, but you wuld think some other source would have it by now.
  2. Is there an inner tailgate protector/bumper/cover outhere?

I had good luck putting a honeycomb vinyl wrap on the front rail of a pickup box. It's thicker than most wraps, so it might give you the protection you need. I was thinking of trying it on my tailgate. A 3ft x 5ft roll is $28 on Amazon.
  3. Front Differential Failure Club

I don't have a worry about my diff, but now I do have a fear of knife wielding clowns!
  4. Plasti Dip White Hardtop – Budget Heritage Vibes Achieved

Really nice job and a good alternative to the other methods. Using the cans can be a challenge as you noted. For those looking for another way to apply Plastidip, Dip Your Car has a spray system: https://www.dipyourcar.com/collections/dipyourcar-peelable-car-kits
  5. Bronco newbie must have mods for mpg and wind sound

Good advice, and it has the added benefit of no cost!
  6. DIY heritage grill

Looks good! Projects like this are fun to do and are good learning experiences.
  7. Car Care Nut (mechanic) review of 6G Bronco

Wind noise is the reason. The 4Runner had noticeable noise in the A-pillar and/or mirrors.
  8. Car Care Nut (mechanic) review of 6G Bronco

I had a chance to drive a friend's 2026 4Runner TRD. It's nice enough, but not really much quieter than my '25 Big Bend. I didn’t feel the material quality was better either.
  9. Interior Noise - Still Loud?

It's OK...we just want our voices heard. Now, let's turn our attention to a less controversial topic: Favorite motor oil.
  10. Interior Noise - Still Loud?

My only experience is with the 2025 Big Bend that I bought in January. I didn’t find the interior noise objectionable during an extensive test drive, and I just took a 1,600 road trip with no complaint. I did add sound deadening to the doors, but that was mainly to address the hollow sound when...
  11. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

I bought my 2025 Big Bend in January, and took it on its first road trip this past week. I had a chance to drive it through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and was extremely pleased with how well it handled the road system there. About 30 miles of that trip is full of good twisties...
  12. Infotainment screen recall #26S09 (Infotainment Screen Blank) - 3/5/26

I agree. Sadly, all it takes is one person to back up over a cliff, tumble down a hill, burst into flames, and hit some endangered species in a national park to ruin it for everyone. 😁
  13. Pretty Bummed re: Negative experience with Bronco Nation / TrailRax

Agree. That was a real missed opportunity. Makes me think the relationship between the two is not good.
  14. Chirp Sound from Under driver dash / engine area - 2025

Did the dealer discover the cause of the chirping noise? I have a one month old '25 Big Bend making that sound at startup. It does go away after a few minutes. I read in another forum that the body control module (under the dash) or relays cycling are likely the cause. In those cases, the...
  15. Touch up paint kits and paint kits

I second this recommendation. Automotivetouchup.com has been my go-to for paint touch up for 7+ years. It can take up to two weeks to get your order as they mix on demand. Still, worth it.
  16. How Do You Define Off-Roading?

This goes into the same category as, "if a tree falls in the woods..."
  17. Power stop Brake and Rotor Install DIY

That's an important tip. A lot of us know how to do brakes, but some of these vehicles have a unique feature that need to be disabled (or put into service mode). Always smart to check on that first!
  18. How Do You Define Off-Roading?

It's an interesting question, and I bet it will get a variety of responses! For me, it means driving away from paved or dirt roads to get to a remote destination. Two tracks, fields and creek crossings qualify for me. I respect those who do Moab, Rubicon, etc. It's just not my thing.
  19. New to the Forum

I just upgraded from a Ranger, so know your feeling. Lots of good information in this forum, so take a tour and see what works for you. Welcome.
  20. How to remove hood scoop

I just got my Bronco, but I added and removed a lot of 3D printed trim on the hood of my Ranger. I got pretty good at removing those items (including fake hood scoops) using fishing line, heat gun and adhesive remover. A was said earlier, take great care with the heat gun. I use it only if...
