That's not it. The harness is below the coolant reservoir. See this post with the pdf attachments on where the technician is instructed to inspect. These wires on passenger side that are sitting right on a sharp piece of stamped metal are the issue correct ? Thought I would do a quick check before we headed out with the camper and saw this. I used a piece of the edge trim Ford put in the tool kit for when you remove the doors and slipped it over the metal edge. I really could not see another obvious issue

They completed the wiring harness recall service to my raptor this week when I took it in for an unrelated unresolved issue. Check your passenger fender splash shield/trim and the bolt/rivets before you leave the dealer. Mine was missing a few.Got the recall for my newly purchased Raptor. Wiring harness, can’t even take delivery, on day 3, because the parts just now arrived. My Braptor is the Guinea pig as it is the first to receive the fix. Absolutely livid! At least the actual tech gave me some insight on the process. Hopefully I can get my rig today. I won’t hold my breath.
Thank you for posting this. This information should not be this hard to locate. 34 pages of searching for a simple answer. That's not it. The harness is below the coolant reservoir. See this post with the pdf attachments on where the technician is instructed to inspect.
There is no Wiki of all the recalls and the associated documents, if that is what you are asking. In this case, the post with the attached documents should also be referenced in the first post so others don't have to peruse the entire thread to find them.Thank you for posting this. Forgive my ignorance, but is there a section for this info? If not, why? Some of these recalls a stupid and sending my rig to a dealer for God knows how long is frustrating. My shock recall took a week. Seatbelt issue was almost 2 days. Seat bolt not done but I will fix that with the harness myself.
Very true. I added the technical instructions to the original post.In this case, the post with the attached documents should also be referenced in the first post so others don't have to peruse the entire thread to find them.
I wasn't blaming you. Really something the mods should do.Very true. I added the technical instructions to the original post.
That’s my bad for not doing it sooner because I know how difficult it can be to search/find specific posts.
I know, but just as easy for me to do itI wasn't blaming you. Really something the mods should do.
There is no ETA at this time.Any guesses when the non raptor remedy is available?
I’d also take any kind of guess to give me some kind of hope.Any guesses when the non raptor remedy is available?
Damn…There is no ETA at this time.
Fall ... maybe early Winter, depending on (1) year of if vehicle and (2) if Ford really expects to examine anywhere near 500K+ vehicles.I’d also take any kind of guess to give me some kind of hope.
