Also did here as i had alot of dirt building up and was really tight against the bar behind the radiator. I know a recall will surely take care of all these suspect areas but I figure no harm in trying to prevent it from catching fire going down the freeway with my family in the thing.

I think this spot just below coolant bottle does look suspect so I wraped with some coolant hose section and zip tie.

They sell solvents for cleaning transmission lines before filling with new fluid. I am personally just using brake cleaner between.

I wonder if it was the high pressure fuel pump ? It's right there just above the hot as hell turbo. This gives me a little anxiety not gonna lie but glade that you all were safe and made whole!
