I sure hope the vents of the rear center console are on a different face plate and it pops onbour consoles. I just can't imagine ford putting the effort in to make a new center console completely.

I was able to literally set my plate like this with the factory plate holder just drill it onto the area you have this at no extra cost

Everything went smooth not much room but make sure to pull that foam up off the box it ships in they hid my voucher code and you could not tell it was there.

I'm currently installing with procal already pulled rack data when I tuned it so this knock on wood should work but second guessing with all these bad reports.

APG hinted at a v8 swap on a video recently so may be in the next 10 years

I have the same stupid issue with this too.

I have similar issues and it evolved to making a crazy screeching sound intermittent almost like the radio is fighting with the cameras and proximity sensors. FORD FIX YOUR SOFTWARE!

You definitely want to warranty. I went through this and found it was all 4 doors doing this

Ok I know much maybe can't be said but let's talk hypothetical. Would it be feasible to add this section of the center console and maybe a new vent tube and have this on our prior year models ?

Try xpel vinyl they sell in various sizes just cut to fit

Well just tuned my 23 2.7l and I guess I was lucky with no issues so far. I was told by ford performance rep that there really is not much likelihood they would make any changes with updates to the tuner. He sounded like he deals with these pretty often and mentioned that as far as updates too...

So is the general concensus that we should not be following ford performance directions and updating before first connecting to the truck ?

I would check all grounds at the worst you checked it off the list of potentials.

I don't recall the post but on the [banned site] forum a member had a similar concern. I think they placed a large cup under the exhaust tip and ran the truck for a good while till they collected enough to analyze. This was a older truck but it seemed to work for them to confirm it was coolant...
