EDIT: after all of my testing being inconclusive, the fusebox battery cable now shows 0A draw within a few minutes of shutoff and doors locked. I think i reset something that was stuck on. i also discovered my dc-ac inverter is bad (flashing amber), and my 12v rear outlet isn't working.

Battery was below 50% a few days after driving.

I have a 1A draw with doors locked and sitting for over 30 mins coming from the below circled fuse module. If I pull this off the bus bar I can see the amperage drop.

what’s this module for? I’ve already pulled each fuse individually and didn’t see any change.

edit: I’m guessing it’s the interior fuse block circuit.

I pulled each fuse in that block one at a time and didn’t see a meaningful difference but while testing the constant draw dropped down to .4A.

not sure what caused the change since opening the door triggers things to turn on, but no single fuse resulted in a 1A change.

im going let it sit for a bit locked with the hood up and then test that primary battery-fuse box cable for current again later. Maybe I reset something that was stuck on?

As I learned, documented here:

https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...ge-bms-update-w-realtime-measurements.124050/

the Bronco's various modules (i.e. computers) slowly shut down after you turn your vehical off, such that significant amperage is being drawn in the first 30 minutes or so after shutdown. Varous actions wake them up as well, such as opening a door, the key coming within range, over the air updates/communication with Ford and the Ford apps, etc.

I note this for your information, not as a specific diagnosis as to your measurements and how they may or may not be related to your battery issue.

thanks. I’m aware of various items drawing power when off, and that there are different modules running shortly after power off. I think the correct power draw when off for 30 mins, locked, should be less than 1A though. I’m guessing this constant current led to the drained battery/no start condition considering the battery charged up fine.
