Today’s adventure could be called,

HOW THE 10 SPEED AUTOMATIC CAME THROUGH WHERE A MANUAL COULD NOT!
or,
I WENT TO THE FOOT DOCTOR. πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

Drove to the foot dr with a toe on my left foot busted into several pieces like a chicken bone hit with a wooden mallet.

This, the first automatic I’ve owned over the past 40 years, let me drive with one foot.

I’m gettin older and …. πŸ˜’β€¦. Clutches will become more of a problem.

******
edit, while my computer is working:

No photos or it didn't happen.... well, here's the exciting proof!
with a reminder of my soft GoodYear RTs....

Spent last weekend up in Big Bear, ran John Bull and a few other trails with my buddy and our kids. My 14.5 year old daughter was behind the wheel for about 85% of John Bull, she’s badass and has become very confident off road with the Bronco the last 3 years. Ended with some jet ski fun on the lake.

I probably won't mod my Bronco much as it is just fine as it is but, I was looking at my Ford "points" the other day and saw I could buy accesories from Ford with them. I had a few in my account and found I could buy "Ford Performance" hood struts. Now to my thinking these should have come from the factory this way but what the heck. I ordered them, included install and had them put on when I had my oil changed in the Bronco. I certainly should have done this myself but what the heck.......a few points and boom...done! Best part is this simple instale makes it so much better under the hood. It's obvious I'm getting old!! LOL!

Next and more importantly is a picture of my Graddaughter. When she was younger we used to watch "Dirt Every Day," and we bever missed an episode. I watched because of the interaction between Fred and Dave, and she loved to watch and catch a glimpse of the pink Sasquatch. My wife found us a pick Sasquatch sticker, and I dispise stickers, but this one some how seemed OK to me. So here she is with our pink Sasquatch!

She got a kick out of it so a sticker on the rear window is OK with grandpa!

Dirt Every Day was such a great show. I appreciate that the real struggles of building a vehicle were never edited out and we got to see the challenges and frustrations along with the problem solving mindset needed to just make things happen.

After the show was cancelled I found the YouTube channels for both Fred (4xFredWilliams) and Dave (DirtHeadShed) and have been following them since. They seem like genuinely good people and still manage to do things together from time to time.

You and your granddaughter have great taste and the Pink Guy decal is an excellent addition.

Hood struts are a good thing to have. Especially if you're opening your hood often, to air up, etc. My last DD had them (Ram 1500). When I saw my Bronco didn't, made me shake my head. I might have to add those too.

Are we supposed to get rewards points for buying a Bronco? I though my salesman said I would get some points. It's been about a month and none yet.

Installed Fox Performance 2.5 shocks with Eibach HD Lift springs in the back yesterday. The same shocks and springs in the front with Accutune UCAs and a Ford Performance Severe Duty steering rack install tomorrow...and maybe Sunday....and because I'm old and doing this on my garage floor possibly Monday, too.

Actually I used to think the same thing... but I was wrong....

The "goat modes" actually do change a number of parameters including throttle response, shift points and slip thresholds for stability and traction control... and those are beneficial... I do not use them most of the time but occasionally....
Yeah, sand mode in the dunes is a game changer.
