AFE Sway-A-Way 2.5 Coilovers

Is anyone running the coilovers yet? I have not been able to find any posts with these. They look like what I am looking for but definitely hoping someone has some experience to share with the.

I have never run them but, sway away have had a solid reputation in the past. They have been around a long time but they aren’t as well known as king and fox. I didn’t know they were purchased by afe so I would look for some recent reviews across multiple platforms before deciding.

I wouldn't buy sway away, its all about after service and @AccuTune Offroad is King right now. Lot of companies make shocks but few are really investing the time into a specific platform.

Definitely trying that. So far, no info out there I can find. That’s the entire reason I posted here, hoping that we might have members who have tried these new coils. You never know. I might be the one who takes the first shot.

I have also heard great things about Accutune. There are a lot of ways to skin this cat. So far they aren’t the product that I’m looking for. If I find the right info, the Sway-A-Way might be. Shall see.

Coilovers are not new to Sway-A-Away. I installed Sway-a-way coilovers on my FJ, back in 2007. To the OP, I have no experience with the Bronco versions, but the ones I had on my FJ, I have no complaints.

Thanks F-Spot. I suspect they’ve had lots of use on desert trucks. I haven’t found any user specific information anywhere about their new bronco offering. It looks pretty good on paper though.

Very nice looking gear for sure. Green isn’t my jam but the tech in the shocks looks great. Maybe they will offer other colors at some point.

As suspected, sway away sold off. Betts is out of Fresno, I had a high school buddy who use to work there and would sell the reject lowering springs. Small world...

I saw that about Betts. They only acquired the swaybar portion of the business. AFE still has the coil overs.

I read a few reviews online for other vehicles that used their shocks. Seem decent but they are valved pretty stiff from all the reviews I’ve seen. Hard pass for me.
