I'm getting right around 7.5" from the top of the tire to the metal fender itself. I think I still want to lower the front a little so that might get me down to 7.25" when I adjust it. The rear was also 7.5 so I'm pretty level at the moment.

OK, that'll give me a good baseline after mine settles some. Did you leave yours at whatever 4WP/Procomp had them sat at, when you installed them? I'll have to look back at my measurements from when the MC lift was on it, but I remember the rear gaps being at 9" with 1/4 tank of fuel left and the fronts had dropped so bad, that they were right at 6" gaps.... I would be happy with a gap of 7"F/7.5-8"R I think? I'll take some measurements of the gaps after I finish installing the lift this week!

I installed the top section and then made some adjustments before bolting in the bottom section so I started lower than the out of the box setting. Then I lowered them more after some driving.

I don't recall any noises after my install. Did you drop the LCA for the install? Maybe you need to loosen those bolts and retighten with the suspension loaded.

@redone17 I installed these with the 4WP/ProComp UCAs and installed by dropping the LCA and I did not have any squeak/creak after installation or any time in the last year or so running them. Did you install anything like aftermarket UCAs or upgrade anything else at the same time?

I figured it out. It was positive camber. I didn’t want to run an alignment right away because I figured things needed to settle. Especially because I was adding front bumper and winch. It’s going in on Saturday to tighten things up. I’ll bolt on UCAs, ADS Trac Bar + Rock Jock Relocate, OEM Rear Sway and then an alignment. Should be good to go after that.

Hey Jeff! Could you do me a favor? Since you and I are closer to having the same setup, (mine having MT's, instead of AT's like yours), can you measure the center top of the tires to the center bottom of the actual metal part of the fenders, not to the fender flares, (since I don't have those anymore, LOL!)?

I have my measurements from the settle Bilstein SAS Metalcloak lift and I have the measurements of my wife's settled Bilstein SAS without a lift, but with actual 35's, instead of 315's. I'd like to try to get closer to how mine looked a year ago, before it dropped 2"+ in the front!

This pic was taken 2 months after installing my old Metalcloak lift, at the end of July 2024. It had settled a little bit and I was fine with it...., but...

This is the same lift as above, about a month ago... It looked awful... especially in person!

They're the only "classic/vintage" flares that I know of? They've held up pretty well, my 37's rub them slightly when the rear flexes, but they're not damaged. The only issues I had with them were the crappy double-sided tape that came on them... Remove that junk and use some good 3M tape!
