33's or 34's? on 2.3l badlands

So the time has come to upgrade the tires. Currentlyrunning the stock ko2's on sas takeoff rims. Was thinking of going up to a 34" tire. But don't want to lose to much of the current drivability. I have the 2.3l manual with a ford performance tune. Seems to me the perfect setup on this trim. Want a little beefier look and aggressive stance as well the extra clearance. But I also love the way the broken drives right now. Do I need bigger tires no. But I think it would look sweet. Looking at the 285/75/17 Toyo at3 if I went with the 34. They seem to be on the lighter side with still good performance. And if I stay 33" would get the ko3. Does anyone have this setup and if so what can I expect to lose exactly if I went with the 34's. I am literally at a standstill and can't make a decision. here is my current setup. Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

Literally no one has ever regretted going a little bigger. Plenty have wasted money going smaller though.

KO3 35x11.5R17 is possibly the most ideal size for width, diameter, weight. Keep in mind a Sasquatch comes with the narrow 35s factory (same gearing as badlands).

I think 285/75/17 is a perfect size for stock BL and should make the speedo dead nuts on since I find it reads too fast with 33s and too slow with 35s with factory programming. It will probably be my next size now that I've taken my lift off and the 35s rub a little.

At some point I will be in a similar boat with a 2026 4dr Badlands non-SAS (current stock 33" Goodyear Territory RTs). When I need to replace my existing tires (probably a way's off), I will likely try to go with 34" pizza cutters (better mileage, slight height increase, hopefully less highway noise). Not sure of the brand/model. I don't want to modify my existing suspension or remove any of the crash bars.

Only the same as a manual Badlands. But the 4.46 in the auto will be fine as well.

34's. Hell. 35's. You have the gearing, and the gearing. You have all the gearing. Plus the tune. I'm sure 34's won't make a big difference in driveability. I have heavy 315's on my manual Badlands and it drives fine.

I have the Toyo AT3 in 285/75/17. I love them. I have the same Bronco as you do, except I have the optional beadlock capable Badlands wheels that were an option in 2021. Perfect fit. Super ride. Great aired down on the trail. Buy em!

I got a set of 35x11.50 KO3's in June for my 2.3L/7MT BL...Added the FPP tune right after, and don't regret either one at all.
These should be stock on the 2.3/7MT. Factory 285/70-R17's are too short for the 4.70 gears...1st gear (not Crawler) was good for about 22mph at ~4,000rpm. Didn't like that.

Get 35's and never look back.

I run 37s and got no tune. You’re gonna be fine. Get 35s.

Yes, if you don't get 35s, ever time you look at the 34s they'll be SMALL! Get the 35'

I just put on some Toyo RT Trails in 35x10.50r17. They skinny and light at 56lbs. I have the tune and I zip around. But if you don’t want 35 then 285/75r17 is a good size for you with lots of great options.

I am 7MT Non SAS Badlands running 35/11.50/17’s on OEM wheels with about 1.5” front and 2” rear lift. As for gearing there is no problem at all at all speeds on 35’s. Drivability in 1st and 2nd actually improves.
