Flat tow equipment needed to flat tow the 2021 Bronco?

I have the NSARV setup on my 21 with almost 15k towing. I am trading my Motorhome in and the Motorhome is setup for a system like the Demco Air Force One. I am considering installing the AF One in my Bronco. Is anyone running this? Any pluses or minuses? I would still use same hitch setup, but with the AF One. Thanks for any input.

I’ve got over 20,000 flat tow miles on my Dutch Star and Bronco using the AF1 braking system and have had zero issues with the system. It’s been flawless and the only thing I do when it’s not in use is zip tie the emergency brake release to the front bumper so it doesn’t get pulled out when I’m off road. You’ll understand what I’m saying if you get the system.

Thank you. This is my plan. Monday will be picking up my Motorhome and having the AF1 installed on my Bronco. Have been reading reviews and other vehicle owners comments. Should be the best way to go.

I'm late to the party and "cheap." And when I say cheap, I am surprised by the prices of the equipment when I have searched for a flat towing kit. I had my 07 JK set up to be flat towed (minus the brake controller) for ~$350. That was the mounting points, tow bar and wiring kit. So when I see just the mounting point between $550 - 800 alone I am taken a back a bit. lol What is a safe and economical way to set up a Bronco to be flat towed? Like a parts list that is not going be well over $1,000 (except for the brake controller)?

If you have the Heavy-Duty Modular bumper you can connect directly to the tow hooks and that
saves buying a base plate setup.

The braking system is going to probably be the most money I would think. I got an RVI for my JL Rubicon and LJ Rubicon. I was able to move it from Jeep to Jeep. Traded in the JL for the Bronco and will now use it for that or the LJ. My state requires braking on the towed vehicle, so I had to get it. The tow bars aren't cheap either, but you might check the used market for those. I also use the same bar for both vehicles.

Curt makes some tow bars that can be had in the sub $200 range.

I use a Blue-Ox that connects to the shackle mouts on my JCR winch plate, it was around $500 though.

It cost me about $3000.00 but it's set up right. They installed the tow bumper and the Air Force One braking system. I already had a Blue Ox tow bar. We towed the Bronco about 5000 mile last year and just came back from a 400 mile trip yesterday. I know, that's a lot, but I never want to look in the mirror and see the Bronco coming loose.

Surely you leave your rear camera on when towing. ? I actually leave the rear microphone on when I first drive off to listen for odd noises. Caught a safety chain that had come loose one time and my Jeep Gladiator parking brake had automatically set another.

Indeed I do but I've seen too many mishaps where a Blue Ox broke and things got hairy. Not to me but I am very careful about it. I actually have two cameras that watch my rear.
