Use a great spotter, and left foot brake on a bouncy climb, it keeps the suspension loaded. Air down, air down and air down. If you are spinning tires, you need to air down more.

Use a great spotter
"No honey, you're perfect, you're great. It's just this time I gotta go out with Ted because, uh, his dog died! He's so sad about it. Next time, you can spot me all day. In the parking lot. Oh hey, don't be mad! No, you're so good at it. It's just y'know, Ted, he needs this. You're so much better than he is! Seriously!"

For some reason, the one that stuck with me is when going down a steep incline - No touchy the clutchy.
Ya should never be touching the clutch crawling

The biggest lesson is that slow and steady beats rushing, and you should always pick your lines carefully rather than bashing through. Also, never go wheeling alone, and always air down your tires for traction and comfort.

More of a life lesson for myself. Being in a hurry has rarely done anything more than gotten me into trouble in a hurry. Never rush a recovery 🤠

Speed breaks shit. I haven't been at this long but I've never seen someone break something that rode slow and winched up hard climbs vs skinny pedaling it.
..
This dope - while tearing up the trail acting like he is competing in the Paris Dakar rally, broke both axles and a wheel. And thought it was cool.

File this under 'more money than sense' plus he is a danger to other people on the trail.

No need to watch from the beginning, I paused it just before when ish got real.

And people new to wheeling watch idiots like this and think this is what 4wheeling is supposed to be like.

Easy does it! Your right foot 'breaks' your Bronco while your left foot 'brakes' your Bronco. (See what I did there?) Excessive momentum and spinning tires not only destroys the trail for other wheelers, but it also destroys parts. Take the Bronco Off-Rodeo course! You will learn all the basics.

If you are anywhere near trees, bring a saw!!! Chainsaw (electric or ice), sawsall with a long blade, manual saw, etc. We were 50 miles in a couple weeks ago in the Pioneer Mountains (Idaho) and there was a 12” tree fallen across the road. Buddy brought a chainsaw and I had a sawsall so made short work of it. This is particularly important if you have to go back the same way you went in. If a tree falls across your only exit, you have problems.
