I just try to stay out of the valley…never felt the need for one of them “temp shades” even when I lived out there, they just seem like another pain in the butt to haul around…but you folks do you…

I would love some super high quality, stitched, thick, heavy duty windows shades, but I’m too lazy to make them myself

Everything on market is rather cheap, provides minimal insulation, and doesn’t cover 100% of the windows

Something like you see for van lifers, the REALLY nice window shades

I have great tinting on the all side and rear windows. The use a front window shade similar to the one shown. I bet this set up works even better.

Windshield sunshade and remote engine start works well for me here in Phoenix.

Put the ceramic tint on all glass. Ft got essentially clear, side & rear a bit darker than OEM. Supposedly the higher quality Ceramic cuts UV rays 95-98%… helping the heat. It’s still warm when closed up on a 100F Sunny day, but not nearly as bad without. I used Tint World’s Ultimate.

Sitting in Sun, Shades still a big benefit on top of Ceramic! I notice the benefit of ceramic tint while driving and AC on, it cools faster and better!

Also when parked outside crack your windows about an inch so the heat that does get in has somewhere to escape (unless it may rain).

I'd agree, window venting!
That's one small negative on the Bronco Door's Frameless windows. I normally always apply the very slim WeatherTech Window Deflectors to my Trucks; allows opening windows 1-2" without exposing an open window to weather or drive-by's. Not possible with Bronc's Doors.

NOT an overly big deal... just a nice ability on most doors.

Ceramic coating on all windows. 70% on front, 55% on all others. Xpel XR Prime Plus. It definitely helps.

High quality ceramic tint and a Desert Sand hardtop, I’ve got zero complaints here in Phoenix. Got to be the coolest interior vehicle i've ever owned. You can hold your hand against the fiberglass roof panel on 100*+ days after it has sat in direct sun. Don’t think you could do that on a metal roof.

First thing I did was get the best, most blocking-est nano-ceramic tint I could find. Blocks 97% of the heat and my cabin is easily 10-15 degrees cooler than ambient if I'm parked in the sun.
