Let’s be honest — nobody bought a Bronco expecting amazing fuel economy.

But some mods definitely hit harder than others

Bigger tires, lifts, roof racks, bumpers, rooftop tents, light bars... we all know the list gets expensive fast (in more ways than one).

What upgrade took the biggest hit on your MPG?

And was it still 100% worth it?

I must have done something wrong, I'm getting better mpg with the mods vs stock.

ProComp wheels with BFG KO2 37's
ProComp adjustable coilovers
RJ trackbar relocation bracket
MBRP 3" stainless overland cat-back exhaust
Trailer hitch
Mishimoto intercooler and upgraded charge pipes
CVF intake
Corsa catch can
GPE ported TB
FPP Procal tune
Bronco Raptor Rigid foglights with SPV harness
Tuffy cargo area storage box

No regrets on any of the mods and the engine breathing better really seems to help the hp and mpg. My current tank is sitting at 19 mpg and that's all around town driving, no highway. The 2.7 with the Sas makes for a great package.

I only use sport mode with a procal tune and have a heavy foot. I have yet to even look at the mpg display lol. Seriously, never even looked.

Driving at highway speed, with the Sasquatch package, heavier aftermarket front bumper and a less than aerodynamic OEM roof rack.

But yeah, it looks great, feels great and makes me smile everytime I drive it - except when heading to "fill-er up".

Thule Caprock platform. I don't even want to talk about it, but it looks cool 🤣

Driving against the wind. Got back from a long road trip and I added around 2-3 mpg with the wind...

RTT on my 2-dr, but I still can get over 20mpg. Leave it on all summer. No regrets, I love being self contained on road/camping trips

Bought an Everglades knowing what I was in for, but I came up with an idea and replaced the snorkel with a low vis snorkel which can be swapped out during highway travel.

MPG went from 15.0 to almost 20.0 in a month period. Still able to use the snorkel now and swap when I’m on highway. Best mod I ever changed haha 🤣 So theres a successful mod MPG story.
