Tyler helped me out a couple different times with take-off parts I needed when I broke on the trails. Went above and beyond to get me going. Not sure what he did to piss other folks off.Broncbuster is BANKRUPT finally, yay
He's an IDIOT, stole others tie rod braces designs and claimed he thought them up, then sells his OVERPRICED blocks to everyone who's willing to drink the coolaid... Then tries to talk shit about real engineers like 74w. Builds crappy rack upgrades and selles "pre-programmed " racks using my Rack-Hack methods with NO mention of how he came up with the programming. (He hired members here to do the programming work (mine) because he's too stupid to do it himself) and claims the work as "his own"...drives tough trails in 2wd with broken transfer case and rolls bronco for Instagram views, dumps out oil on the trails while flipped over and gets Broncos kicked outta Moab....Just a complete douchebag!!!!Tyler helped me out a couple different times with take-off parts I needed when I broke on the trails. I forgot, I did know about the programming and who here in Tx programmed them at first. (didn’t realize it was your hack). And he did make a fool out of himself and Broncos at Moab, that’s a fact. He's an IDIOT, stole others tie rod braces designs and claimed he thought them up, then sells his OVERPRICED blocks to everyone who's willing to drink the coolaid... And it's all Badlands, not just SAS. Or I got some kind of unicorn, hah.I believe it's 2024 and newer, vice 2023 on Badlands.
Any details on this Decked cargo box?Well I have the Bronco tool roll plus the Tricky Dick tie rod tool kit with copper hammer, ball joint puller, pliers wrenches I also carry a Battery powered impact wrench and a set of sockets. and the Badlands 1.5T off-road jack.
I have a 4-door and I am beta testing the decked cargo box so I have plenty of room.

Brian, you would have the Hoss 3 part numbers for each component, would you? Inner and R & L outers?Mostly inners, but not always.
L and R inners are the same, but you can’t mix HOSS 2 and 3 parts. The HOSS 2 inner is different from the HOSS 3.
I can not give out much information until they release us but what I can say is, I can fit a bunch of gear in it. I will be writing a full review for Decked next month and when we can release details I will have a full write up on it.Any details on this Decked cargo box?
That’s a fun trail fix.I carry a spare Hoss 3.0 and extra tie rods.

IF the outer is stamped "Ford performance" it is a HOSS 3 and interchangeable with all HOSS 3s.... IF the outer is NOT stamped "Ford Performance" it is a HOSS 2 and interchangeable with all HOSS 2s.... HOSS 2 parts are NOT interchangeable with HOSS 3 parts; inner, outer, any of it... That is as far as tie rod parts go.... Remove the entire tie rod (HOSS 2 or HOSS 3) and the entire tie rod can be replaced with either the HOSS 2 or HOSS 3 with either rack.
The thread diameter connecting the inner to the outer must be larger for hoss 3.0 than hoss 2.0. That’s why they are not interchangeable. Is that true?Mostly inners, but not always.

Thread diameter is definitely larger on the Hoss 3 from inner tie rod to outer tie rod. That’s a fun trail fix.

If so they would be slightly stronger. Does someone know the diameters for hoss 2.0 and 3.0 inner threads?
@Snacktime has probably put some calipers on the threads and measured diameter?

But the rack side threads are the same? I just bought some standard Moog spares (2 inners, 1 each of the outers) for my 2.0 rack. About $122 including tax and shipping from Rock Auto.Thread diameter is definitely larger on the Hoss 3 from inner tie rod to outer tie rod.
I am just talking to get off the trail.... I personally would not put a Hoss 3 tie rod on a HOSS 2 rack as a permanate replacement. The big problem with the HOSS 2 rack is deflection. The housing is no where close to as ridged as the HOSS 3 rack. Deflection is going to throw the pinion out of lash specs and you are going to tear up both the rack teeth and the pinon if not break the housing itself. BUT... just to get off the trail to get home and repair it properly it will work. Yes I believe the tie rod is a fuse for the rack. But the rack side threads are the same? Is it a bad idea to put a 3.0 tie rod on a 2.0 rack? Will it just drive the failure deeper to a more difficult repair spot while trail side?
Sounds good I can't afford to break something more expensive anywayIt's easier and cheaper to replace a tie rod than it is a rack, especially on the side of the trail.
Don't upgrade. Keep the fusible link.
