2-Door Advantages:
1) Won't bottom-out as fast over uneven terrain.
2) Look a lot better.
3) Parallel park easier (mall crawler mode).
4) A yellow one won't be confused with a school bus.
#4… a School Bus actually only has Two doors… one for side entry, and one for rear escape.
I am still a Two-door guy however.

Missed this thread, spent the night catching up. 😆 I’m not sure we’re to start. ……..

To me it is obvious where the 6G blood lines come from. Both on “35s”.

Glad I got mine before the cut off. I was sweating it come 2023. 😕

I do agree they both have their place but for you “westies” the thick woods with deep ruts of mud and rock gardens with moss and ferns on them you best have a nimble, tight turning, max ground clearance, with the lowest center of gravity as possible. It’s a different animal.

As far as the 2.7. I have not driven a 4 banger Bronc, nor do I need too. Things aren’t the same after having a blown Foxbody stick car. The 2.7 is waaaay neutered in 1st and 2nd gear, it is well known, would post the thread but it has been deleted. I can feel it and by the time the power pours on in third you might not realize your 5K brick is going 60. It’s got some scoot for sure. For the record I’m a strong supporter of the Bronczilla.

Oh, I forgot one thing…..wife and I were in our 20s and starting a family. Lived in what is now my cabin. Needed 4WD, bought a TJ. They don’t come as a 4DR. Bought cause is was a Jeep and it was the first SUV that had a 4link coil sprung front AND rear suspension. They are a kick ass woods machine. Learned to adapt to the fact that it is a 2DR TJ. IYKYK.

You people with 4-door Broncos make me laugh.

What makes me laugh even more... a 4-door "Heritage" edition. I mean really! What were they thinking!

I wonder why there's never a jihad over width. "Wider is better." "Skinny fits more." "You can go faster wider." "Narrow stays on the trail." "Wider is more stable." "Skinny isn't banned." "Skinny is stupid." "So's your face." "Yer mama." "How's your greasy granny??" "Shut up." "No you shut up!" "Try and make me." "Let's go wide ass." "Don't fall over, noodle face!" "Bah!" "BAH!" "BAHH!!" "BAHHHH!!"

Can we change the subject to something less controversial?

1. I ALWAYS wave at other Broncos regardless of number of doors or generation.

2. Someone left this on my Bronco last week and I think it's awesome!

The lines of the 2 door are bad. This has been discussed to death. The proportions aren't correct. It looks bad. If it was such a great vehicle with a large market, why would Ford be cutting it out? It isn't selling...except to boomers trying to hold on to or relive a memory of their youth.

If it wasn't too small, then why does every 2 door owner on every Bronco forum start a thread about lack of storage space and what storage options are available and how do I make X fit inside of it?

The 2 door was a giant swing and a miss. I guess it got all of you guys off your La-Z-Boys and into the dealerships to trade in your Buicks and plop down another 50k before you kicked the bucket. Now that the fad is over, they'll ditch the 2 doors and sell the winner only.

Even the god-awful Stroppe (the purest bronco) isn't selling in a 2 door. Time to get off the sinking ship fellas. It's ok to admit when you made a mistake. It builds character.
Can’t we all just get along? I love station wagons. I have a cool station wagon. But Broncos are two doors and they always have been. And don’t get me wrong, I love the Ford flex with the eco-boost power but if I’m going to drive a bronco it’s going to look like a bronco, not a Ford flex.

For me, this two door four door thing started with pick ups. The first extended cab trucks added space, but at first looked out of proportion. Then came the four door wrangler, at first it looked so odd, now to me it is the more ‘normal’ proportion. Both have their place, I would drive either two or four door models as the kids are grown.

I agree with the earlier comment, this is America, it’s great to be able to choose how many doors. What is REALLY more important is that we are able to use our nations lands do do this special activity! Tread lightly!
