Looks like they are a large shop making all kinds of fuel tanks for SUVs. Seems they have three kinds, the one here that replaces the fuel tank and two aux tanks; one behind the rear axle and one in the empty space on the other side of the driveshaft. 30, 16.6, 15.8 gallons. I'm liking the one beside the driveshaft as it distributes the weight.

Grabbed this when I initially dropped the tank. Doable on ground with no lift... But a lift would definitely be easier. Only needed a tiny screw driver and whatever socket it was to remove the original fuel tank, and h4 bit for securing the fuel pump.

Part of why it took so long was that I didn't have the the pump basket removal tool. What worked was a dead block hammer. And something like a piece of wood. Knock the retainer in the unlocking direction and it comes off easy .

Also I cross threaded a hole and had to get my M12x1.75 tap to clear it.

Reminder read the captions of her video. One of the lines is reversed in the video, but caption tells you to reverse it

Looks so close to the original in size. Which part holds the Tardis?

I filled 22.25 gallons at the station. Friends came back with 9.7 gallons of gas. But I couldn't get it all out of my portable tanks. So 30 gallons is very accurate here.

Color me confused but where does the extra fuel fit? Is this like Mary Poppins bag?

the large mid section on the stock tank looks recessed compared to the 30g and the walls are square to the bottom plate. i guess it all adds up

Tried this . Does not work . Fuel level by ipc shows 999 miles till empty and occasionally pops up 9999 miles until empty

Interesting....and weird...definitely works on the Ranger Raptors. Did you try "by pcm"? Im wondering if 30 gal is over the parameters limits...🤔

@Shawn Ma. Does the 30 gallon Raptor tank cause a loss of ground clearance or not? If so where and how much?

... I did not notice any loss on clearance. I'll grab some measurements from say the rear trailing arms to ground. And how this fuel tank compares on Monday. Probably won't have time to do this tomorrow...
Give the guys a minute or two, they're not on your clock or dime. :ROFLMAO:

I did that change in ipc. Change fuel tank size to 30.3 gallons. No change to dte. When changing calculation from pcm to ipc. It errors to 999. Will play around some more. I always have my laptop with forscan and FDRs with me. Just no time to get it done.

I could be totally wrong, but I'd suspect the range estimate will not be accurate going forward. The new tank is complex geometry. Even if the computer recognizes the new tank fuel capacity, I wouldn't be surprised if when the fuel level float is displaced some distance (say a change from 1/2 to 1/4 tank level) that total fuel volume per unit of gage travel represented in the OEM tank will not be the same number of gallons capacity in the new tank. More significant, If there is still 4 or 5 gallons remaining when the gage is showing nearly bone dry E, there is no hope that range calculation can be accurate without changes to the fuel level sensor. Did the kit make any changes to it? It could also take many more miles for the fuel gage to come off Full, too. That could fool you into problems as well by not having as much fuel/range as you think you do.

If it were me, I'd completely top it off several times with the gage showing 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, and also pushing Empty to see how much fuel actually goes in at each fuel gage position and also use the trip meters to verify mpgs. I'd also watch my trip meters closely to see how many miles I go before the gage comes off Full, and use the ave mpg to estimate how many gallons were used...or just top it off again if it seems to be a significant distance. You may need to make a cheat sheet and pay very close attention to your trip meters.
