Desert sand will end up being the rarest bronco!
It certainly had a very limited run. If the owner can track their build date, there was a very limited production of DS Everglades (outside of the bulk of the production dates for the DS Everglades). Ford needed to produce the DS Everglades for marketing purposes and didn't wait until the July/August run. They needed it for the early spring promotions. Not to waste production capacity, they sprayed a limited run of Everglades chassis beyond their needs for marketing. Very fortunate few retail customers received their DS Everglades in March/April. Doesn't make them any more desirable than other DS Everglades. But it is a worthless factoid among Bronco geeks enthusiasts.

What good is a snorkel on a vehicle that will shit the alternator (and probably other electronics) if you go that deep in water? Not being snarky I really want to know. (I have been belly deep in my rzr with snorkels and portals btw)
I don't believe you will get an answer to explain why the height of the snorkel is not the max height that the Bronco with a snorkel can actually ford water.

It's like the three lights in the grill on a truck that is less than 80" wide................ it's because it looks cool.

Don't get me wrong, I love the fact that almost everybody modifies their rig.... Go to a Mustang car show and most look pretty much stock with minimal mods............... go to a Bronco gathering, and it is pure modification eye-candy........... I love it!

Honestly I kinda like the idea that the snorkel inlet is above some of the dust the stock inlet might ingest otherwise.

Are these the standard or XL Rokblokz?
Standard SAS Rokblokz. Absolutely love 'em. Frame mounted, so a bit more effort to install than some others, but worth it IMHO. Quick word of caution, though. If you use the quick release 'knob' screws to hold on the mud flaps (easy removal for serious rock crawling - the extremely robust frame mounts remain in place), check them for tightness fairly frequently (I have a monthly reminder in my phone). They can loosen over time.

Good tip. I just got the SAS (XL) longs, rear only, for my HE. Going to try installing today. Did you have yours up on a rack or jack for the install? Noticed they put the Bronco on lift in the install video but I was planning on doing the rears in my garage without lifting it.

I may do the front at some point but I’ll probably have to trim them down to work with my big running boards. I just want to block that gap between the fender flare and boards without crowding the front tires.

No problem sliding under your SAS to install the rears. Like in the video, test fit the entire assembly before tightening everything down (an extra set of hands helps here). If you need an excuse to buy more tools, a long handled torque wrench (see attached picture) makes the job easier (those frame bolts can be a bugger). The fronts (should you decide to get them) are easy to install - just crank the wheels all the way over to access the attachment points.
